Things You Can't Say About Obama (Brilliant. Must Read)
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | May 16, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 05/19/2008 10:14:03 AM PDT by Behind Liberal Lines

With Obama we started out, we couldn't talk about his big ears 'cause that made him nervous. We've gone from that to this: Not only can we not mention his ears...

We can't talk about his mother.

We can't talk about his father.

We can't talk about his grandmother unless he does, and brings her up as a "typical white person."

We can't talk about his wife,

can't talk about his preacher,

can't talk about his terrorist friends, c

an't talk about his voting record,

can't talk about his religion.

We can't talk about appeasement.

We can't talk about color; we can't talk about lack of color.

We can't talk about race.

We can't talk about bombers and mobsters who are his friends.

We can't talk about schooling.

We can't talk about his name, "Hussein."

We can't talk about his lack of experience.

Can't talk about his income.

Can't talk about his flag pin.

This started out we can't call him a liberal.

It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears.

Now we can't say anything about him.

I've been as hard as anyone on Rush about this "operation chaos" plan and I still think the jury's out.

With that being said, however, it's good to see El Rushbo can still knock one out of the park.

Absolutely brilliant.

This is the problem with “affirmative action” and racial preferences. They create a privileged class of people who can do no wrong and can’t be criticized.

What a situation - this country will very likely have an affirmative action president elected by millions of women, and a few men, with a sexual fantasy!

There was a great country song last year in which the singer said, “I like talkin’ about you you you you usually, but occasionally, I wanna talk about me!”

I think Doug from Upland ought to put what Rush wrote to this tune because as I read it out loud to my kids it developed a rhythm and my son said, “Is this a poem? Or hiphop?” It does have a natural rhythm to it.

Oops! We’re not allowed to talk about that either!

Why don't we seize the opportunity provided by the MSM's deification of Obama to permanently de-claw the IRS and get God back into the public school classrooms?

This post (<-click), while addressing taxes, helps to explain why government "leaders" like Obama are actually in contempt of the Constitution that they have sworn to defend, foolishly following in the footsteps of FDR's dirty federal spending politics.

In fact, the article referenced below shows that Obama is the #1 federal spending proposer in the Senate for '08; Clinton is #2.

Obama, a big-shot federal spender
And this post (<-click) exposes how corrupt justices then began using FDR's politically correct license to ignore the 10th A. to unlawfully stifle traditional family values, including the USSC's scandalous legalization of abortion in Roe v. Wade. Note that the post first references two non-abortion cases in order to show Roe v. Wade in a different, troubling perspective.

In fact, consider that the states have the constitutional power (10th A.) to authorize public schools to lead non-mandatory (14th A.) classroom discussions on the pros and cons of evolution, creationism and ID, as examples, regardless that atheists, separatists, pagan-minded judges and the MSM are misleading the people to think that doing such things in public schools is unconstitutional.

The people need to reconnect with the Founder's division of federal and state government powers. The people then need to wise up to the major problems that, since the days of FDR's dirty politics, Congress has not only not been operating with the restraints of the federal Constitution, particularly where constitutionally unauthorized federal spending is concerned, but the USSC has wrongly been ignoring the 10th A. protected power of the states to address religious issues.

The bottom line is that the people need to get in the faces of judges, demanding that judges uphold their oaths to defend the 10th A. protected powers of the states to address religious issues - or get off the bench. The people also need to send big-shot, Constitution-ignoring federal spenders like Obama home as opposed to trying to send people like him to the Oval Office. The people need to get in the faces of members of Congress, demanding a stop to constitutionally unauthorized federal spending while appropriately lowering federal taxes - or get out of DC.

Lincoln put it this way.

"We the People are the rightful master of both congress and the courts - not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." --Abraham Lincoln, Political debates between Lincoln and Douglas, 1858.

Whose God?

Thomas Jefferson envisioned dividing counties into wards, little republics, which addresses your concern.

"My proposition [to divide every county into wards and to establish in each a free school] had for a further object, to impart to these wards those portions of self-government for which they are best qualified, by confiding to them the care of their poor, their roads, police, elections, the nomination of jurors, administration of justice in small cases, elementary exercises of militia; in short, to have made them little republics, with a warden at the head of each, for all those concerns which, being under their eye, they would better manage than the larger republics of the county or State. A general call of ward meetings by their wardens on the same day through the State, would at any time produce the genuine sense of the people on any required point, and would enable the State to act in mass." --Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1813. So you wish to divide up the U.S. into religious ghettos?

You either missed or ignored Jefferson's point about wards.

In today's terms, it would be up to a given community to decide how its local, taxpayer-financed public resources would be used for religious purposes. A mixed-faith community, for example, may decide that none of its public resources should used for religious purposes.

On the other hand, there is nothing unconstitutional if an all Christian community, for example, decides to have Bible classes in its local, taxpayer-financed pubic schools.

Watching the thing with his wife this morning, I was struck by the thought that, if this guy is elected president, even liberals will get sick of his ass pretty quick.

He, and his wife, seem like really odious human beings. Like a Carter redux.
