Those on this board who consistently back McCain remind me of Monty Python’s “Holy Grail” routine with the Black Knight, who refused to admit that a limb was cut off each time one was lost.
It seems that every day McCain betrays those backers with some new pandering gambit, cutting them off at the knees, and yet they continue to say “I’ll hold my nose and still vote for him” - i.e. “It’s just a flesh wound!”
In the end The Black Knight was just a head and torso screaming “Come back you yellow bastard! I’ll bite your legs off!” After yet more betrayals those McCainite torsos will be yelling “I’m still gonna hold my nose!”.
