Sawyer Suggests Hillary Should Reject Race-Based Votes. And Obama?
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Hillary Clinton won among white voters in West Virginia by a 67-26% margin. Pretty lopsided. Then again, that's nearly an even split compared to the 90+ percent of black votes Barack Obama's been racking up in state after state.

So who does Diane Sawyer suggest should reject race-based votes? Senator 90+? Nope. James Carville was Sawyer's guest during the GMA's opening half-hour today.

DIANE SAWYER: I want to talk about the fact that 20% of the voters coming out of the West Virginia race said race was in fact a factor in their vote, and of those Senator Clinton won 84%. Here's my question: should Senator Clinton say she is rejecting the votes of anyone who votes based in any way on color of skin?

This race double standard crap will keep happening as long as we allow it to.

Everyone needs to get a specific “shield” to the response of “blaming the victim”. Here it is:

“I don’t accept that they’re victims.”

Now, go forth and be intolerant of nonsense!

Not that I’m in Hillary’s court, but How could she even tell which of her 67% votes were Race-Based? It’s a ridiculous suggestion.... but then again, Diane Sawyer is far from the brightest bulb on a christmas tree.

In fairness to Sawyer, what she had in mind was a statement by Hillary rejecting race-based votes. But Sawyer’s double-standard remains ridiculous.

I wish someone had the guts to tell Sawyer that the color of Obama's skin is the only reason Hillary didn't have the nomination wrapped up 2 months ago.

I saw a picture of a black woman wearing an Obama t-shirt talking to Hillary. The first thought I had was "Hillary, if this guy was white you would have had my vote."

In the end though it's all good for the Republicans.

I’m not opposed to Obama because his father was a Kenyan. I’m opposed to him because he’s a leftist crank - the most extreme we’ve ever had run for President. This guy is so far out of the mainstream of America that it takes a major hoax from the news media to get him anywhere close to it.

My top level dream scenario is that this primary, with its group politics, tears apart the dhimmirats such that they are no longer viable as a national party.

I’d love to “right flank” the GOP in 2012 with another party without fear of putting dhimmirats in power as a result of this action.

That would be a dream scenario. Too bad there are no Conservatives out there anyone is willing to follow. Leadership is pretty thin these days.

I have heard it said that Obama didn’t want to come to a nearly all-white WV and campaign. It was a stupid move on his part. People in WV do not form their opinions based on the NY times and the MSM. They often base their opinions on whether a candidate is respectful enough to show up in person and ask about their concerns. Bush & Hillary know this.

You must admit that Bill and Hillary put forth an effort. They had events all over WV. They visited the Mothers Day Shrine in Grafton on the 100th anniversary of Mothers Day. They even went to places like Webster and Logan. Places like this are unquestionably poor and common. And I mean that in the fullest sense. The only business in Webster is a bait shop. The nearest gas station is 10 miles. There are abandoned homes and cars up on blocks. It undoubtedly took courage on their part to stand before an unpredictable crowd in such places. I suspect that everyone in attendance was a gunowning Christian with very outspoken politically incorrect opinions. The odds of getting a brutally hostile question about gun control or abortion were pretty high.

Do you think that George Bush enjoys spending every 4th of July in WV? He seems to come every year. He does it because it makes good political sense. It is a small investment to win the support of a key swing state.

Perhaps someone should be asking why Obama feels so uncomfortable around West Virginians.

Race is not an issue...

His record speaks for itself...

BHO is a liberal

His promises and policy statements, which he will now try to soften, include...

Higher Taxes

A Naive Foreign Policy concept

Naive Economic Policy including rejecting NAFTA and acceptance of Marxist “Liberation Theology” as a prescription for economic equality.

Pro Abortion Policies Including Support for Partial-Birth Abortions and “Execution by Neglect” to Abortion Survivors

Expanded Gay Rights Including Support for Same-Sex Marriages and Open Gays in the Military

Increased Gun Control Policies and Laws Including Banning Handguns and All Semi-Automatics

Reduced Support for Israel

Open Borders and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Socialized Health Care

More Spending on Social Programs as payoffs for Democrat Party Supporters

Conversion of Social Security to an Income Redistribution Program

Appointment of Liberal Judges Interpreting Laws IAW Their Political/Social Views

Reduced Oversight of Corruption-Prone Unions

I would say racism IS an issue with Obama.

He, his wife, and his minister hate people with white skin.

I collect vintage band t-shirts and my favorite band is Type O Negative.
[they are *not* “politically correct”]

On the back of one it says;

“You are not a victim. You are a volunteer.”

Hehe! I almost bought that t-shirt too! Yeah, Peter, Johnny, Kenny and Josh aren’t the most politically correct people in the world. That’s why I love them so much!

Here's my question: is there anyone on network television dumber than Diane Sawyer?

I have most of their shirts [probably upwards of 50 or so, counting duplicates]
My *other* favorite has “Diversity = Destruction” on the back.

Wicked sense of humor from the Lords of Flatbush.

[eventually, I’ll get banned for posting “Kill All The White People” on every obama thread]....LOL!

Check out my trike on my page....I’m not obsessed, am I?

;-D
