The slight tilt of Caesar's head conveys a mature self-confidence; by contrast, the stiffness of Alexander's bust makes him seem more self-conscious. Makes sense, considering the difference in the respective ages of the two men.

If I understand your post #40, AlmaKing, that's the ethos aspect of these sculptures.
