Clinton Campaign Brought Sexism Out of Hiding

As the Democratic nomination contest slouches toward a close, it's time to take stock of what I will not miss.

I will not miss seeing advertisements for T-shirts that bear the slogan "Bros before Hos." The shirts depict Barack Obama (the Bro) and Hillary Clinton (the Ho) and they are widely sold on the Internet.

I will not miss walking past airport concessions selling the Hillary Nutcracker, a device in which a pantsuit-clad Clinton doll opens her legs to reveal stainless steel thighs that, well, bust nuts. I won't miss television and newspaper stories that make light of the novelty item.

I won't miss episodes like the one in which the liberal radio personality Randi Rhodes called Clinton a "big f---in' whore" and said the same about former vice presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro. Rhodes was appearing at an event sponsored by a San Francisco radio station, before an audience of appreciative Obama supporters -- one of whom had promoted the evening on the presumptive Democratic nominee's official campaign Web site.

I won't miss Citizens United Not Timid (no acronym, please), an anti-Clinton group founded by Republican guru Roger Stone.

Political discourse will at last be free of jokes like this one, told last week by magician Penn Jillette on MSNBC: "Obama did great in February, and that's because that was Black History Month. And now Hillary's doing much better 'cause it's White B---- Month, right?" Co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski rebuked Jillette.

I won't miss political commentators (including National Public Radio political editor Ken Rudin and Andrew Sullivan, the columnist and blogger) who compare Clinton to the Glenn Close character in the movie "Fatal Attraction." In the iconic 1987 film, Close played an independent New York woman who has an affair with a married man played by Michael Douglas.

Where can I get one of those nutcrackers? First I heard of them. Like to take one to every bar in town and start a laugh riot! (sorry if this is sexist, but what a hoot!)

Marie Cocco and Maureen Dowd should start a female victimization club.

"I won't miss..."

I sure will. People, and liberals, have only been saying these things because Hitlery deserves it and more. This has been one of the best primaries I've had the pleasure to watch. Watching the MSM, rat party and rat voters stomp on Hitlery's throat while she writes another million dollar check to her doomed campaign has been all that I thought it could be...3 cheers to Rush and Operation Chaos for extending her misery!!! OK, some of those things were maybe not nice (but they still made me laugh) but on the other side are her supporters, both men and women, who take every anti-Hillary comment as sexist. I’ve read posts on sites that say you can’t talk about her wearing pantsuits because it’s sexist, FGS! One poster on a lefty site who was a Hill supporter stopped just short of calling for the vat of hot oil to be poured on a male poster who posted a pic of Hillary in hair curlers!

I;m fed up with women who want to be treated like a man until you do it. Then they screech about sexism. Marie Caca is a lefty writer for the Washington Post. That alone should disqualify her opinions.

Ironic, isn't it? By writing and publishing an article about all the things she wishes would go away, the author is actually giving them more publicity.

Ah, the joys of the Internet Age. Thanks again, Al Gore.

Marie doesn’t understand:

We don’t hate Hillary because she’s a woman, we despise her because she’s Hillary.

No need to look for a political explanation when the personal one works just fine.

Poor Marie.... She can’t stand the heat, and she’s not even a candidate. Maybe she should try a new profession - I certainly will not miss her.

I haven’t heard of almost any of the things mentioned in this article.

So I guess I won’t miss them either.

Cuckoo for Coccopuff pieces.
Cuckoo for Coccopuff pieces. Hillary is not the nomine because: 1. So many people hate her because of her Stalinist tactics. 2. She is a communist. What is or is not between her legs has nothing to do with it.

I thought the piece was valuable because it exposed the hypocrisy of the left. The sort of abuse catalogued in it is *typical* of the hatred that is normally directed at a conservative or Republican woman--see the horrible abuse directed at Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin (in the latter case combined with racist abuse). And this passage,

Would the silence prevail if Obama's likeness were put on a tap-dancing doll that was sold at airports? Would the media figures who dole out precious face time to these politicians be such pals if they'd compared Obama with a character in a blaxploitation film? And how would crude references to Obama's sex organs play?

Oh please. We see far worse racist abuse directed at Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas all the time. White leftists gets "dispensations" to be racist all the time.
