Jordan charges man with killing sister suspected of having extramarital affair

A Jordanian judicial official says the country's state prosecutor has charged a man with premeditated murder who is suspected of drowning his 22-year-old sister for having an extramarital affair.

The official says the unidentified woman's brother beat her with the help of his family Saturday and then took her to the Dead Sea, where he drowned her.

The official says the state prosecutor also charged the woman's parents and another brother Monday with assisting in the murder by knowing about it and for beating the woman before she died. He says they carried out their suspected actions after seeing an unidentified man leaving the slain woman's house.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity Monday because he was not authorized to talk to the media.

He’ll be punished. He’ll be fined at least $25.

A dog, cat or even a chicken will protect it’s young.

Muslims seem perfectly willing to slaughter their own children, even for the crime of being suspicious.

And we are expected to reason with these people? We are expected to welcome these people into our communities, workplaces and associate with them?

Sure, some may say that “Not all of the Muslim faith are like this”, and one may say that all rattlesnakes will not bite, but that doesn’t mean I want to go out and roll around with them. When I saw the televised crowds cheering and dancing in the streets during 9/11 - I learned all I needed to know about Muslims. They apparently have no soul, and they are a danger to me and everyone I know.

There is no enemy in the world that world that would get Americans dancing in the street while innocent men, women and children were either burned to death, or crushed. If a civilian airliner crashed into ANY building of a country we were on unfriendly terms with - we would have help airborne within hours to render aide.

We demonstrated this with the Tidal Wave that killed thousands a couple of years ago, and we re-affirmed our willingness to help others in Burma today. Perhaps it’s time to with-hold our aide, and let the Muslims step up and help each other.

Revelations makes reference to the Great and Abominable Church. I claim no religious authority to point the finger; but to me this certainly sounds like Islam.

"the country's state prosecutor has charged a man"

Yeah.....charged him $1.95 for unauthorized dumping!

And what about the other family members who helped beat the girl to death? Where are the world's human rights organizations now????

(not a peep....not even a sound.....)

I’d rather have a pet rattlesnake than a muslim as a neighbor.

Muslims seem perfectly willing to slaughter their own children.

That's done lawfully in this country.

Just gonna' say women murder their babies every day and no one is allowed to do anything about it. The Supreme Court put the question beyond the reach of legislation by the people's representative assemblies.

Moslems just delay it a tad. They don't believe in democracy any more than the Supreme Court or their little friends in Planned Parenthood.

We have a real battle ahead if we are to ever have representative democracy and the rule of law in this country. Maybe the Iraqi Army could help us out in that regard (once they get organized).

I'd rather have both...that way I could keep my pet rattlesnake outside in my neighbor's mailbox.

Now, now... who are we to question the values of a socially superior Third World culture?

Even King Abdullah of Jordan and Queen Rania, and Queen Noor have no say in this matter. The Clerics are in charge in Jordan, and they are very evil men.
