Police said yesterday they had smashed a gang of 16 robbers believed to be responsible for nearly 50 burglaries with a total haul worth hundreds of thousands of euros. The gang is suspected of having broken into 15 homes, 19 cars and 14 company offices recently, according to a police source.

“It is one of the largest Albanian gangs that have been operating in the country,” the source added.

Authorities have arrested five of the total number of suspects, all aged between 15 and 30, and are searching for the remaining gang members.

No information was given on how police tracked down the suspects.

According to authorities, the total value of items taken by the gang during the heists exceeded 300,000 euros.

Out of how many? Seems there must be quite a lot of Albanian gangs operating in Greece.

These are NATO’s favorite people which it gleefully ganged up and bombed and entire country for so that the ethnic Albanians could STEAL a part of it for themselves. Looting, stealing and confiscating land and property for months and years under NATO’s watch after the Serb forces and government were pushed out.

Agreed. Not our finest hour.

Though the real villain was Mussolini and his Axis buddies who carried out the genocide in Serbia and let the Albanians in.

Are Greek citizens allowed to own guns for personal protection?
