Lucky Number 10,000: Ten Thousand Human Shields Pledge to Protect Iran
DBKP ^ | May 11, 2008 | Ginn

Wanted: Human Shields to protect Iran, Free One-Way Ticket

The Human Shield Movement has announced it reached its 10,000th pledge member. The lucky guy to sign on as a Human Shield Volunteer number ten thousand is Steven Morris from Birmingham UK. Morris has pledged to use his body as a “human shield” against an “attack on Iran” from “neo-con” President Bush.

Volunteers from 22 countries not from Iran have pledged to travel to the Middle Eastern country at a moment’s notice to place their “human shields” or in simpler terms, their bodies in front of civilian infrastructure in Iran in order to “prevent what they believe would be a catastrophic and unjustified attack” from the “warmonger” President Bush.

While we believe if there were to be such an attack it would be catastrophic, especially for the Human Shields, we’re not so sure it would be unjustified. We wondered if each of the Shields will be assigned large bold numbers for identification purposes if their worst case scenario is confirmed. We suggest each Human Shield also receive a form to fill out for future Honorary Darwin Awards.

Steven Morris from Birmingham, UK is the lucky 10000th person pledging to use his body as a “human shield” against an "US attack on Iran". Morris will be attempting to slow down bombs using both his body and his righteous attitude.

You can’t make this stuff up! Tell me then: What’s the downside of an attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons program? We destroy an evil regime’s WMD and rid the world of tens-of-thousands of mindless peacecreeps in one fell swoop! BRILLIANT!

There is no way, unless Iran attacks Israel, that our current or any future U.S. President will go nuclear against Iran.

If they go to Iran, there biggest threat will be Islamic suicide bombers, not an attack by the U.S.

These people are why we USED TO HAVE funny farms and loonie-bins. So I guess their idiotic behaviors on the outside might do society an important service -- eliminating themselves and the need for such institutions in one fool swoop.

I wonder if these idiots will wear clothing that identifies them as such? If they did, we'd know where all the important stuff is in Iran and we could minimize civilian casualties.

Maybe we could make the Iranians a deal. If they take all 10,000, then they can sell them to the Darfur Arabs as slaves and we won’t make an issue of it.

Or they can forcibly convert all 10,000 to Islam, make all the men grow beards and all women wear the black abaya. Everybody has to pray five times a day, learn the Koran in Arabic, and fully obey strict Sharia law.

If they make it through that, then they can be used to clear minefields.

This is a wonderful idea!
It should be encouraged and financed by private contributions..

The more wankers we can place in the strike zone, the more justifiable the strike.

The gene pool needs a lot more than 10,000 of these clowns on the strike zone...
Millions would be a number I have in mind....

Idiot leftists. Apparently they haven't heard Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's threats to annihilate Israel. Why don't they go to Israel where they could prevent a global Armageddon? But no one wants to die for the Jews. It isn't politically correct.

“There is no way, unless Iran attacks Israel, that our current or any future U.S. President will go nuclear against Iran.”

So many things at play here...a) with Iran, most people (including HRC) don’t understand that “retaliation” to any attack by Iran is useless and too late - they MUST be stopped before getting to this point; b) attacking (and stopping Iran) does NOT have to be nuclear (i.e., Israeli AF’s brilliant attack in ‘88 on Iraq’s nuke facilities (NO casualties on either side) which put a 20+ year stop to that threat) - OR, serious financial sanctions-banking and credit privileges- would cripple Iran (but would require collective cooperation of the appropriate economic-power countries, and c) Benjamin Netanyahu, former (and youngest ever at the time) prime minister of Israel, will be once again elected and in charge within the next 6 months - a brilliant, wise and very serious leader (with cajones of steel) when it comes to the Iranian threat if imminent. He has said many times that they must, and will, do whatever is necessary to protect themselves from obliteration, if no one else (including the U.S.) takes action. And who can blame him??? BTW, Israeli intelligence (and security) is arguably the best in the world.

As I remember, they arrived in Iraq all full of themselves that they were there to give peace a chance. They wanted to place themselves at schools and hospitals. There was photos of them holding peace protests in the streets of Baghdad playing guitars and singing. I remember one being some professor from a college in the US. Saddam turned around and said they could only stay as long as they where placed at military facilities.
They all jumped on buses for the Syrian border really fast and they all had that look of shock on their faces. That look that reality just slapped them upside the head.

And the actions of these moonbat “shields” betray that claim instantly.

The way to contain, and then eliminate the current Iran regime will likely be similar to the policy followed from 1991 to 2003 with Iraq.

That policy being to sanction and then carry out limited bombing campaigns on strategic sites whenever the regime steps out of the box in which it is contained.

When that form or diplomacy reaches a point of diminishing returns and the regime is weakened, the U.S. and allies can launch a full scale attach.

While the above may occur, what you will not see is one sudden and pre emptive massive attach on Iran.
