Just a technical correction. To my knowledge, there are no wolves (except the human kind) in the upper Delaware area. There are a few coyotes and the eastern diamondback rattler is very rare, maybe 2 per square mile. There are plenty of black bears, groundhogs, weasels, foxes, possums, coons, skunks, deer and a few bobcats.

I think the rattlesnake which would be most common in that area would be the Timber Rattlesnake. I've even seen them in northern N.J.
