Now Barack Obama faces a true dilemma: how best to punish Hillary Clinton.

After 15 months of fighting her off, as she veered wildly from bully to victim, as she brandished any ice pick at hand, whether racial, sexual, mathematical or marital (in the form of her Vesuvian husband), Obama must decide the most efficacious means of doing to Hillary what she has been trying to do to him: putting her in her place.

Her last resort is to continue to press the “Psssst — he’s a black man” tactic. She insisted to USAToday, after the North Carolina and Indiana slide, that she has a broader base, citing an Associated Press article “that found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”

Did I miss something?

I usually pay close attention to the news, but was busy for the past 36 hours or so with my kids.

Late last night and this morning, a quick look at the headlines looks like Hillary has dropped out - but she hasn’t - I think.

Did the MSM decide that this was going to be the weekend that they - not voters or Dem leaders - were going to push Hillary out?

I can’t stand Hillary - yet I’m almost pissed off for her.

Thanx for the post.Never thought i’d agree w Dowd on anything.I’m still in shock re Obama in lead.I had assumed from the outset that Hillary would be the dim nominee.Out of 6 family members-4(female)are(still)firmly for Hillary-the other 2(Dad and me)are voting McCain(w/reservations).Much to my delight,it appears the lib elite are deserting her thighness in droves.I still believe H is the only dim nominee who has/had a chance of beating McCain in the general election.Hill running w/O as his VP?No way that massive ego would ever entertain the thought.
