Saw that they finally have this up on the band's website, so I figure I'll post it to give people an opportunity to learn that not all of us metal fans are dirty, dark people who take one shower a week.
Hope you guys enjoy it.

I think I read some where that listeners of heavy metal tend to be young, male, and conservative leaning.

My son listens to metal and at first “hated it” but it grew on me and now metal helps me clean the house....

Same here, I know the band wouldn’t let its fans down.
Though I have to say with A Matter of Life and Death, which came out in 2006, I was skeptical at first because of the album title. But I was wrong when I heard The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg.

I went to a Catholic school for about a year when I was around 11-12 years old.
One of the priests allowed me to play the church organ when it was empty.
One afternoon, I was playing the riff for, “The Number Of The Beast,” and the priest said he liked the way the rhythm sounded.

Yep. It just gets worse if you play D&D and read Harry Potter while listening to metal. Then you're "corrupting the youth of America".

Didn’t have to. He already knew.
It’s not a satanic song, and he knew this.
He was a good and wise man.

Thanks. You just described my adolescence in a single sentence. (Except for me it was watching Star Trek rather than reading Harry Potter.)
*sigh*
Oh, and, agreed. Iron Maiden was my first favorite band. You never forget your first.

I suppose CNN covers Bruce Dickinson's second career as an airline pilot for British Midland when Iron Maiden is not on tour?
I'm going to see Rush tonight - for the second time in a week. Honestly, they look and sound better now than they ever have.
