Well, I have to help my FIL do some grocery shopping for a weekend retreat next weekend that he’s cooking for. He’ll be cooking meals for about 30 people for Friday evening through Sunday Lunch.

Let’s see...it seems he’s deviated from the 50’s stuff lately.
Maybe he DOES check this thread out.

The two alleged victims (of Bernie Ward) were sixteen and seventeen-year-old students at Santa Rosa's Ursuline High School, where Ward taught. His lawyer says he was cleared of all allegations, and left the priesthood on his own.

I had a feeling when I checked out his website that most of his show today would be dedicated to discussing sexual abuse allegation. He’s got several articles about illegals molesting kids, etc.

He’s got several articles about illegals molesting kids, etc.

Now that's especially worthy of discussion, since it directly relates to our wide-open borders. On the other hand, I do understand that the Ward case is an important one, but Savage continues to repeat himself and drive the issue into the ground due to his personal vendetta against the deviant toad. It's time for Savage to "let it go" and move on to a different topic.

Thanks to do not press 2’s speed test request, I just finished upgrading my AT&T DSL connection to the “Elite” package. I didn’t realize how far behind the curve I had fallen over the past few years! :-O

I’m having the same problem. It takes forever to get anywhere on this site. Feels like a 14.4k dial-up.

I’m closing down and restarting; maybe that will help.

Running Firefox here, and FR is loading extremely slow for me as well. Perhaps it has something to do with all these speed tests. ;-D All other aspects of the Internet are running fine, btw.

I think it is cable related or something else here on the east coast. Home, I am told, is excruciatingly slow too.

From the upgrade confirmation e-mail:

If you upgraded to a faster speed, your order will be processed within 3-5 business days. Please note that due to billing cycles, it may take up to two months from the time of your order for your bill to reflect your new monthly rate. Appropriate adjustments will be made at that time. See full terms and conditions below.

Looks like I'll be waiting at least a few weeks for the speed increase to take effect. :-/

And yeah FR is like molasses tonight. All my other internet haunts are running smoothly.
