When Maine officials tried to warn residents of the dangers of this winter's near-record snowpack, Big Media slanted the story, hampering efforts to warn folks of the danger....The result? "There are people who are losing their property, their homes and their livelihoods," Maine Governor John Baldacci said after the flooding that officials had tried to warn the public about did occur last week.

When media bias was mainly just about theory, it was one thing. Now it's beginning to harm people's lives and property.

Ideas have consequences and this Big Lie is going to cost our planet TRILLIONS of dollars in lost productivity and MILLIONS of lives will be lost due to hunger and other consequences.

I really wonder if we’re past the point of where the First Amendment is a viable concept. Who was it that said that the Constitution is not a suicide pact?

And the planet will still be here, not costing a penny to anyone once we're all gone, which is the ultimate goal of some of these people. Creeps me out to hear someone say, "Yeah, maybe the human race SHOULD go extinct, I can't wait for the next asteroid".

What kind of people are these? They WANT this to cost so much money that capitalism goes broke.

The lie that CO2 causes global warming has inhibited investment in domestic hydrocarbon resources, and as a result we are stuck importing huge amounts of $125 per barrel oil.

A lot of paper and ink are being wasted to promote the myth of man made global warming.

Also a lot of electrons are being wasted on tv with coverage of the myth.

In the end, the reporting about global warming is a heavy waste of resources in itself.

I don’t know about about that but people are starting to get tired of hearing about it.

I went out last weekend and “global warming” and “green” was just a running joke all weekend long. The consensus I got was that it was just something used to sell products.

As a side note to the question of the MSM's possible putting of AGW alarmist propaganda before public safety, note that the Argo System (ocean temperature probes) has actually showed a slight decrease in ocean temperatures, a major indicator of global warming if it was actually happening, over the last several years.
