LITTLE ROCK - Its a happy Mothers Day for an Arkansas woman shes pregnant with her 18th child.
Michelle Duggar, 41, is due on New Years Day, and the latest addition will join seven sisters and 10 brothers. There are two sets of twins.
"Weve had three in January, three in December. Those two months are a busy time for us," she said, laughing.

My grandmother had 16.
Hold the Grand Canyon jokes.
Sounds to me like March and April are the busy time for them (if you know what I mean).
Amazing what a woman’s body can endure. God Bless her.
I’ve got 3, two are teens, and what a pain in the rear they are sometimes! Hope she’s got a supportive husband.
At 41 she has plenty of time to make it a nice round 30 children. Anyone wonder why the earth is so over populated?
Oh No - not the Duggars again.
Next they’ll be building separate compound houses when their elder kids start replicating.
The up side is, that they can financially take care of them.
My guess is, that their children might go in a different direction.
GROUCHO: “18 kids!”
WOMAN: “Well, I love my husband”.
GROUCHO: “I love my cigar too, lady, but I take it out of my mouth every once in awhile”.
I, for one, hope the parents are not Democrats
More power to them. Family values seem to run deep there. GOD bless and I wish them all rich full lives.
My thanks to this woman, doing the work most Americans won’t do! Because of her, my wife and about 14 other women are free to have only one child without feeling any guilt about not reaching “replacement levels”. So cheers to her!
“At 41 she has plenty of time to make it a nice round 30 children. Anyone wonder why the earth is so over populated?”
Hey, the 3rd. world is overpopulated — population obesity if you will.
Western white Christians have population annorexia.
Did you ever think that with a birth rate of 1.8 per woman in the USA (That includes Hispanics) this couple has managed to make up for 8 or 9 women not having any kids at all?
We need more Christian couples like this.
I have my hands full with three. I simply cannot imagine what’s involved with eighteen!!
“Anyone wonder why the earth is so over populated?”
Only in certain parts. At least they’re not Muzzies.

Yeah, many conservatives are willing to fight and die for their country but not reproduce for their country?
No wonder we’ll all be speaking Mexican in a couple of generations.
I was going to make a joke, but no. Large families are already the target of hate and ridicule. I’ll not pile on.
May G_d continue to bless her and her family with health and strength.
They should just stay out of Texas or else the Texas CPS might steal their kids.
Bravo!
White Western Christians are NOT overpopulated.
In fact, the WORLD is not overpopulated. This may not be exact, but it does demonstrate - all the population of the world could live 4 to a house each on a 1/4 acre in Texas.
God Bless the Duggars and any other family that’s doing their part to populate the world with good people.
They homeschool them all, they have no debt, and I’m sure every kid has a very good moral base.
When the Duggar parents die, there will be a MOB of Christian soldiers to pick up their flag and carry it forward.
Each of my grandmothers had 10 children, during the depression.
homeschooling Christians, self reliant, no aid, no debt.
They're not 'rats.
Maybe the husband needs to google VASECTOMY and find out what it is about?
I’m very glad about that. Of course, the child tax credits every year must pretty well offset his tax bill.....glad to see it happen on our side once....
they are a beautiful conservative family.

Your comment was vulgar and out of line for a conservative site.
You need to read Mark Steyn’s “America Alone”
We need more families like this before we become like Australia who is pushing...”One for Mum, One for Dad and One for the country”
We need babies.
why?
Overpopulation: The Perennial Myth By David Osterfeld

WHY?
Why can’t they have as many children as they want and can afford?
In my church, there are at least 7 “Family Vans”. The average in the church is four children. One family is working on 13.
Those kids are going to pay your Social Securtiy. You should be cheering them.
“Anyone wonder why the earth is so over populated?”
It is not.
Congratulations to them!
All of the birthdays in my house were in January.
My mom started to buy a trip to South Carolina so my Dad could golf for two weeks in April!!!
Mom Ping.
I’ll be working all weekend, so let me wish you all an early Happy Mother’s DAy!
“Ive got 3, two are teens, and what a pain in the rear they are sometimes!”
When you have that many children the older pitch in with the raising of the youngsters. A family at my church at 8 kids and the older ones helped a lot.
Happy Mother’s Day to you too!
Dad is taking the girls to see Grandma and I’m going to see Ironman.
Life is so good!!!!
True. It’s already started in Europe.
They’re not ‘rats.
Praise the Lord!!!!
I would love to be with the family on Christmas just to observe.
I come from large family. We all gather at our former parents home on Christmas, what a beautiful time we have. Larger families are happier, at lest, we are.
They should have as many kids as they want.
I think it's great.
If other families had only the number of kids they could love and support, the world would be a better place.
Bless the Duggar Family!
Only if they are giving their little girls to old men to "marry".
LOL! Yes life is good!
Every year for the past 3 I’ve gone to the midwest homeschool conference.
I was in a big room for a session for fathers only, and the speaker asked for a show of hands of people that had 5 or more kids.
>80% of the room put their hands up.
I broke into applause along with everyone else in the room.
I guess if the Duggars were poor and lived on Welfare and didn’t attend services or homeschool their children they would be a scourge on our nation.
I admire them for the intent and purpose but something is lacking in that family. There is little time for individual love and expression. The children appear to be bot-like, dressing in uniformity, lining up to do almost everything - no spontenaity unless they fall and hurt themselves. What kind of childhood is this?
Once a child is weaned it is turned over to an elder child to be its mentor.
I wonder if they have to make an appointment to be hugged by mom or dad.
There is serious lacking in the parental interaction and I am not being critical but stating fact.
I would rather see a family of three or less children loved, hugged daily, chased and played out at the end of the day, all muddy, thrown into a bath or shower and towelled dry with more hugs and laughter.... and a personal story at night before lights out....
So much for building our nation. It’s the quality not quantity in family life. The Duggars are plastic machines.
Someone the other day expressed my dilemma on having a large family -
if I didn’t have to support so many illegitimate kids, I’d have more of my own.
The Duggars just don’t stop do they?
My nephew has four (the last one and only girl so far is named after me!!)
When people slam him for SO many kids he tells them that kids are like Pokemon cards. They want to collect them all!
>>There is little time for individual love and expression<<
You have never actually dealt with a large family, have you?
