TAMPA, Fla. -- Documents obtained by a Tampa television station reveal many new details in the case against a school teacher accused of having sex with multiple teenage students.
Stephanie Ragusa, 29, had sexual relationships with four underage boys, investigators said. In the past two months, Ragusa has been arrested and charged three times in connection to two of the cases, Tampa Bay FOX affiliate WTVT reported.

Ragusa came to the attention of authorities when a girl at Davidsen Middle School told a school resource officer she had heard that Ragusa had sex with a student. The resource officer informed the principal of the allegation and the principal contacted sheriff’s deputies.
Shortly after Ragusa’s arrest, a teacher caught students passing a note about Ragusa. The note allegedly indicated that Ragusa has sex with other former and current students.
The call transcript indicates Ragusa was aware that her actions were criminal when the boy asked about their sexual relationship:
Ragusa: It’s illegal.
Victim: Oh.
Ragusa: It would be all over the news and everything:
Victim: Oh, like that one Debra Lafave thing?
Ragusa: Yeah.
Victim: Well, like what exactly that we did was wrong, though?
Ragusa: It’s illegal.
Victim: Like what, though?
Ragusa: You’re under 18; I’m over 18 and I don’t know; whatever.

You are so right. It’s sickening the way they run to every thread like this with their “Where were these teachers when I was in High School” garbage. Of course, if it’s a guy teacher with a female then it’s a different matter. Ridiculous.

From now on when a male is accussed of having sex with a female student I believe a picture should be posted so the females on this site can determine if he’s guilty by his looks. In fact, I propose we determine all guilt that way.:)

I read a bit of this story. This woman sounds truly self -destructive. I mean, she was doing it with 7th graders, 14 year olds. After she was arrested and bonded out, she kept on having sex with the same kids!
At one point, she did it with a kid in the driveway in the SUV while the parents were asleep inside the house. There were actually witnesses outside the bedrooms where she was with these kids.
After Deb LeFavre, I can’t say she is toast, but if the laws do what they are supposed to - well, I know someone who did the exact same thing but the sexes were reversed here in FL. He was seduced and then shaken down by 3 teens. (They turned him in because he didn’t pay them) And he’s doing 135 years.

Teenage boys are old enough to decide if they want some female attention. You live in a media-created fantasy world if you think they were harmed in anyway.

When my boys were that age, I encouraged them to check out the assets of good looking, sexy females...I wanted to do my part to make sure they had an interest in the ‘correct’ gender...
Years later, when my daughter became that age, I watched her and the guys she liked, like a hawk...
I figured I knew what the boys’ dads were telling them...
