The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord brings instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor.
Proverbs 15:33
As servants, we gather together in this holy place of prayer to pray for President Bush. Because he is redeemed from every curse of the Law as Your child, we speak a blessing on his life. We pray that he would hear Your voice clearly and, because of that, be blessed. According to Your promises, overtake him with blessings. We declare that he is blessed everywhere he goes. His children and all of his family are blessed. Because of Isaiah 1:19, he will eat the good of the land. Give him his hearts desire. Every time he comes in or goes out, he is blessed. Everything he sets his hand to is blessed. Wherever he is not walking in the fullness of wisdom, we believe You will send him the truth he needs and the strength to apply it.
We pray for the men and women in our military service, CIA and FBI. Provide everything that they need for success including equipment, information, skilled workers and wise leaders. Be their shield and buckler and deliver them from the hand of the fowler and deadly pestilence. Keep their families in Your perfect peace as they keep their mind on You.
We worship You and thank You for answering our prayers and showing our nation Your undeserved favor and mercy because of the blood of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.
Come and worship and pray.
Prayers for President Bush and his family. Thanks for the ping!
'Behold, how Good and how Pleasant it is for Brethren to Dwell Together in Unity!' (Ps.133:1)
Not my words, Lord, but Thine
From Your Heart, Lord, not mine
Let Thy words issue forth
Of Thine own blessed worth
Help me, Lord, with this sword,
Make it shine
Not my eyes, Jesus, but Yours
Seeing pain in others being cursed
Let me see through the shell
To where the soul ever dwells
Let me read hearts as one might read
This verse
Your loving hands, Jesus, not mine
Your nail scarred hands, so divine
Touching others every day
Lifting up along the way
Reaching out, holding hearts,
Being kind
Never my steps, only my Fathers
Not afraid, to test the waters
Let me not veer from Thy path
For Your Way is all I have
Let my footsteps follow You,
And never falter
This is not my heart, but my Lord’s
It beats, only, at His Words
Sounding out a joyful beat
Combined with others, joy complete
A thunderous rhythm echoing
Around the world
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration, the election and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
“Acquaint now thyself with him.”
- Job 22:21
If we would rightly “acquaint ourselves with God, and be at peace,” we
must know him as he has revealed himself, not only in the unity of his
essence and subsistence, but also in the plurality of his persons. God
said, “Let us make man in our own image”-let not man be content until he
knows something of the “us” from whom his being was derived. Endeavour to
know the Father; bury your head in his bosom in deep repentance, and
confess that you are not worthy to be called his son; receive the kiss of
his love; let the ring which is the token of his eternal faithfulness be
on your finger; sit at his table and let your heart make merry in his
grace. Then press forward and seek to know much of the Son of God who is
the brightness of his Father’s glory, and yet in unspeakable condescension
of grace became man for our sakes; know him in the singular complexity of
his nature: eternal God, and yet suffering, finite man; follow him as he
walks the waters with the tread of deity, and as he sits upon the well in
the weariness of humanity. Be not satisfied unless you know much of Jesus
Christ as your Friend, your Brother, your Husband, your all. Forget not
the Holy Spirit; endeavour to obtain a clear view of his nature and
character, his attributes, and his works. Behold that Spirit of the Lord,
who first of all moved upon chaos, and brought forth order; who now visits
the chaos of your soul, and creates the order of holiness. Behold him as
the Lord and giver of spiritual life, the Illuminator, the Instructor, the
Comforter, and the Sanctifier.
Behold him as, like holy unction, he descends upon the head of Jesus, and
then afterwards rests upon you who are as the skirts of his garments.
Such an intelligent, scriptural, and experimental belief in the Trinity
in Unity is yours if you truly know God; and such knowledge brings peace
indeed.

SOLI DEO GLORIA!
We pray for great joy in the hearts of our President and First Lady this weekend as their daughter is married. May this wedding be a blessing to all who attend it, and may You establish the marriage of Jenna and Harry in the love of Jesus Christ. Protect all those in attendance and may Your peace envelop the entire event. We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

British and American computer scientists have created artwork that changes according to how the viewer feels. The computer program analyzes the position and shape of the mouth, the angle of the brows, the openness of the eyes, and five other facial features to determine the viewers emotional state. The artwork then alters, based on the viewers mood. If joy is seen on the face, the artwork will show up in bright colors. If theres a scowl, the image will become dark and somber.
Our moods can also affect the people around usour family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. Our life touches people, whether for good or bad. Each person is responsible for his or her own reaction to us, of course. Yet the way we behave makes a difference in others lives.
The apostle Peter encouraged us to have compassion for others, to love, to be tenderhearted and courteous, and not to return evil for evil but rather blessing (1 Peter 3:8-9). Following his instructions may be difficult for us on a day when we feel cranky. By depending on the Holy Spirit, we can have a positive impact on everyone we meeteven if all we do is smile or listen.
Lets paint our world in bright colors today.
Amen.
Amen.
Praise God for a Lord and Savior that ever lives to make intercession for us!
