Not long after the polls close in the May 20 Kentucky and Oregon primaries, Barack Obama plans to declare victory in his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.
And, until at least May 31 and perhaps longer, Hillary Clinton's campaign plans to dispute it.
It's a train wreck waiting to happen, with one candidate claiming to be the nominee while the other vigorously denies it, all predicated on an argument over what exactly constitutes the finish line of the primary race.

Donner Party, Andes mountain airplane crash, and a train wreck. All three are ugly, but two include cannibalism - and that's what she is doing to the Dem party. Stand back and watch - it's gonna be fun! Run Hillary, run!!!

Exactly. Which is why I hoped for a McCain - Hillary match up. Far from what we want, but at least the most liberal senator of 2007, with a zillion bizarre ties to terrorists, a muzzie/terrorist cheering section, etc. wouldn’t have a shot.
But no, it’s got to be extra-risky.

What you say is unfortunately true, however God would have withheld judgment on Sodom for the sake of 10 righteous people.

I agree with you.
Republicans crossing lines to vote for Obama because they think he's easier to beat than Clinton had better realize that it's possible they could end up with...

Agreed.
No true conservative should be helping the most liberal senator of 2007 have a shot at the White House. It is beyond illogical. The consequences are unimaginable, especially with a Harry Reid-Congress.

There are enough dumb conservatives to sit on thier arrogant pride and watch Hussein get elected. They did it before and followed the siren song of Ross Perot to the election of Bill Clinton

I saw one article that tied Recreate ‘68 to RUCKUS and the anarchists who trashed Seattle during the World Trade talks as well as the recent arson on the “Street of Dreams” houses and the May Day damage in Olympia, this year.

Which is why I hoped for a McCain - Hillary match up. Far from what we want, but at least the most liberal senator of 2007, with a zillion bizarre ties to terrorists, a muzzie/terrorist cheering section, etc. wouldnt have a shot.I've gone back and forth myself about this. Who would be easier to beat? Hillary does look tougher when you look at the states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Missouri, etc. Obama looks like he has no chance in those states; and yet he's beating the witch in the national polls, his positive/negative numbers are much better than Hilly's, and buyers' remorse seems to have subsided among dems. Hilly is one of the most inept candidates in history--wooden, uninspired, artificial. Folks try to blame it Bill, but she really is terrible herself.
I've come to the opinion that Barrack is more beatable on the basis of demographics. Also, in the recent special elections in Mississippi and Louisiana, the conservative candidates had a tough time until they linked their opponents to Obama and Pelosi. Then they made up ground. I hope this isn't just a southern thing. I don't think it is. It could work well in my former home state of Michigan too. The O-man and his god-awful wife may help us avoid a dem tsunami in November.

Interesting observation. Its my contention that because 1% pay 40% of taxes..that 1% chooses our presidential candidates..

So many folks are still falling for the old “snake oil” pitch, “Eat dirt and be glad you aren’t eating crap.” Sometimes you have such a rotten, varmit infested house that you just have to let it fall and rebuild. I have no illusions that the other candidates are better than McCain, but I also have no intention of voting for anyone who serves me dirt or facilitates an alien invasion of our country.
To: ishmac
Hillary doesn’t have the money, the cult and the MSM on her side. That makes her more beatable.
Plus, McCain is not exactly a young man. If he were to suffer health problems before the election, Obama becomes President virtually by default.
A very, very bad risk to take. Yes, he’s worse than Hillary.
