'You don't have the right to speak' (Against Abortion)
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | May 07, 2008

A student senate leader at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has told pro-life display supporters they have no right to express their opinion on the volatile issue of abortion.

"It's not your responsibility," Roderick King, a sophomore at the school and member of its student senate, shouted at those who had assembled a display of white crosses in the campus lawn – with university permission.

"This [abortion] is a right. You don't have the right to challenge it. Write a paper. Do NOT! Do NOT put this in front of all of us. This is not your right," he hollered, grabbing crosses with both hands, yanking them from the ground, and throwing them to the side.

The campus group Pointers for Life had put up the Cemetery of the Innocents display last week, then spent the next morning repairing the damage from someone who had vandalized the field of rows of white crosses representing the victims of abortion.

Then they were trashed a second time, only this time the pro-life campaigners were armed with a video camera.

As students looked on, King led a group of angry students by walking through the rows of crosses and plucking them from the ground and tossing them.

Campus security was summoned, and when an officer arrived, most of the students left. King did not.

Of course ... the wacky left only recognizes your right to freedom of speech when it agrees with their vision. Anything else and as Obama says you are being divisive, why must you cling to your ideas that women should no have abortions? According to Obama it is a womens right not to have to be punished with a baby....

Baby’s are like a virus to the left.

The link page is taking a long time to load because the first part of the process is to connect to googleanalytics, which isn’t responding. In fact, google is down right now, at least in my area (northern NJ). This also happened yesterday morning, for many hours. Anybody else notice this?

Thankfully this nutcase was one of a limited number who did this. My wife was one of the people who stayed up nearly all night putting out the display, called "The Cemetery of Innocents" so it would be there at sun rise.

Stevens Point is in Portage County - the most liberal county in Wisconsin, so I was surprised that the display was even allowed and even more surprised when it was defended by UWSP security.

Well, I guess that word is permanently connected with ‘insist on a personal right to murder to collude in murder at will’. That is not the real meaning, actually. Fascists rule by regulation, defining what those who directly control the means of production can do. Thus, they are sly socialists.

What this guy is, is simply a bully with a distinctly nasty ideology. For some reason he has become evangelic about making sure women can kill their babies at will. We can call him a fanatic. We can call him a storm-trooper. But he is not a fascist: he is not making the rules, he is the jack-booted thug enforcing them. Thus, his behavior does not rise to the level of fascism. Perhaps he’s still in training and this is what they make you do to prove your street cred in the case.

The problem now is that ‘bully’ is an extremely weak word, unless a teacher is speaking, but clear thought is the most effective weapon in a war of words. So, you stand up to a bully and you bring your own moral purpose to a moral battle. If this guy wants to make sure women can kill their babies at will, then it suffices to stand up and point that out, loudly. The truth will convict both him and those who are denied the choice of pretending they don’t know where he stands on this or any other issue you can bring up.

Wow, why didn’t the cop arrest this jerk? I hope he gets expelled from the university Senate and then suspended from the university. This gross violation of the freedom of speech of other students deserves to bring harsh consequences upon him. This guy really crossed the line and is a total jerk. He has a terrible anger management problem that needs to be dealt with.

Well said.

Communists own the means of production.

Fascists control the means of production.

They are both totalitarian socialist systems that act directly against the creators of wealth.

You ask why.

I’ll give you two possible reasons, the combination of which give a 90% probability of being right.

1) He has already urged a girlfriend to kill a child of his.
2) The moral code written on every human’s heart is bugging him a lot, and he lashes out at reminders of that moral code.

Yeah, the guy is a fascist f4660t.

Perhaps some f46h46 friend of his had an abortion and he doesn’t want her to be confronted with her moral crime.

In fact, that’s something he said - “do you realize the number of women who’ve had abortions and have to walk through here and face this?”

Too bad, there was not a “White Will” or another student who would put their foot up the facist racist bully’s ass.

Bullies run rampant, until someone confronts them with a backbone.

I have to presume the last name (king) makes the fool(bully) see visions of grandeur as commie civil rights leader.

“2) The moral code written on every human’s heart is bugging him a lot, and he lashes out at reminders of that moral code.”

That’s a great statement. Can we go one step further? Is it the (false) human ego, that when confronted with this embedded moral code, goes into protective mode to justify false beliefs and lashes out as this man did?

This topic has always intrigued me.

In application to this very topic, I have maintained that those people who are the most vehement, irrational defenders of “the right to choose” are those that have had a role in an abortion, either the mother or the father of the dead child.

When you have done such a thing that is SO abhorrent to that which is written in your, dare I say it, SOUL,

you have two choices (pardon the possible false dichotomy logic error):

You can admit your wrong, repent, be broken before God, and seek His forgiveness,

or you can dedicate your life to defending your “choice” and rejecting any reminder that your conscience immediately siezes upon to convict you with. It’s sad when this happens.

I know someone that was a strong Christian in her pre-teen years. She has an atheist father who would have been “greatly disappointed” if she had gotten pregnant.
She turned into an ardent “feminist”, and dedicated her life to abortion - she got a medical degree to do just that.

Any casual observer would know that this could not have been simply an intellectual decision, and had to be the result of a traumatic event. No one has ever admitted to this, but it’s so plainly obvious.
