She plods ahead now, only in the race because she won Indiana by the size of a Knicks crowd, and all Hillary Clinton has left is giving people another month of reasons not to vote for the black guy.
She thinks she still has that going for her, along with the cockeyed notion that somebody who can loan herself more than $11 million to keep running for President is more of a working-class hero than Norma Rae.
"We're pleased with our result in Indiana," one of her flacks says on a conference call Wednesday, even though nobody believes it.
There is one moment of grace left for her and it is the inevitable moment she chooses to end her rock fight against Barack Obama and step aside. Sometimes that kind of grace comes from the one who knows when to throw in the towel, the way a trainer named Eddie Futch did in Manila when he wouldn't let Joe Frazier go out against Muhammad Ali for a 15th round.
You wonder who in Clinton's campaign can get her past her own vanity and narcissism and make her see that it is time for her to go.

When he repeats this on ESPN's THE SPORTS REPORTERS I know it's over for HRC.
I hope Hillary keeps up the fight. I hope she goes to court over the unseated delegates. Get the popcorn out and stay out of CO. The women and blacks of the DNC are about to explode.
Who is Mike Lupica?
From his descriptions in this piece, he thinks Obama is the 2nd coming of Robert Kennedy!
He should not be giving Hitlery any ideas.....
Lupica is a 3rd-rate sportswriter who hates whites and worships at the altar of the black man.
Fixed it.
This is Hillary we're talking about. By hook or by crook, she is not going to be denied. I am sure she has a silver bullet left.
What it is and when it will be used, I have no idea, but I am sure it's coming.
Did someone say Silver Bullet?
Just another tool in the MSM pimping the false prophet.
He's a regular on the Sunday morning talk show on ESPN, THE SPORTS REPORTERS. From hearing him there I came to the conclusion he's a big lib (not a large logical leap!).
I think you’re right. Hitlery will drop her bomb AFTER the voting is over so everything can be cast into the hands of the superdelegates. No pesky voters to deal with.
She’s playing rope-a-dope. The multimillion $$$ loans to herself are a dead giveaway
And yet the blue collar voters, the white blue collar workers, go for her overwhelmingly. Is it simply a matter of race that they will not vote for a minority, or is it that DemocRAT blue collar voters simply look at the goodies they're being promised rather than the bank account of the person doing the promising? After all, their heroes are the detestable Kennedys who are not going on food stamps anytime soon.
Mike Lupica asks who there is anybody in the Clinton campaign who is as wonderful, intelligent, handsome, daring and strong as Mike Lupica, and who can get past Hillary's vanity and narcissism...
Just a hunch but we may see Obama go out instead of the beast. Rumor control has it she has a “killer” of a suprise to drop on Obama. My guess, if true, she will take the VP slot...and then drop it on him, he steps down and then gets the prez! The Clintons are capable of anything.
One candidate wins a particular demographic group 95% to 5%
Another candidate winds a different demographic group 55% to 45%
Remind me, again, which candidate is depending on a racial appeal to win?
“Lupica is a 3rd-rate sportswriter who hates whites and worships at the altar of the black man.”
You’r4e correct. lUpchuck is a typical liberal hack who’s piling on at the end to make himself look cool. When Nobama’s fate follows that of McGovern in ‘72 he will be outraged.
Kennedy stopped in Bed-Stuy and started talking to a black man...
Did Lupica just say that some of his best friends were black? Are we back to that, now?
The problem with such “rumours” is that if she had such a surprise she would have dropped it long since. Why waste millions of her own money struggling to stay in the race if she has a trump card?
I can’t tell you how many lawyers have headed into the courthouse with a “sure thing” case only to find that the rules prevent the introduction of some key evidence. I think Hillary knows that Obama will be the nominee when he is actually nominated at the convention and not before. He could get hit by a car or a bimbo or a drug dealer with a big mouth. Or, the credentials committee could decide to seat 366 delegates from Mi and Fla of Hillary’s choice.
I won’t believe it until she says its over or until her feet are sticking out from under the house.
Reading a sports reporter trying to political commentary is like watching a dog walk on it’s hind legs. They never do it well, and the surprising thing is that they do it at all.
I think you’ve nailed it. Everybody seems to have forgotten how all those missing FBI files were finally “discovered” on HRC’s dining room table. My guess is that very unpleasant and threatening phone calls are being made right now.
“She thinks she still has that going for her, along with the cockeyed notion that somebody who can loan herself more than $11 million to keep running for President is more of a working-class hero than Norma Rae.”
That’s true.
But is this writer going to assert that the Obamas are really working-class people? They are both wealthy and neither has ever had a real job, just like the Clintons have never worked real jobs.
Once again, it’s the same ol’, same ol’ for the Democrats. Wealthy elitists trying to show people how down to earth they are. Remember John Kerry: “I want to get me one o’ them huntin’ licenses.”
LOL!
And once you've seen them do it, you never need to see it again...
Isn’t Lupica one of Imus’ cronies?
Timing is everything. Unfortunately the general public has the attention span of a gerbil. Drop that bomb too soon, and it’s quickly forgotten or the story more easily spun away with the passage of time.
“Rumor control has it she has a killer of a suprise to drop on Obama. “
And once the press and the Dem leaders wake up from their Obama hangover they will realize they are rid of the Clintons but what do they have now? They are like the couple in the Gwyneth Paltrow movie who have a one-night stand and she winds up pregnant.
Consider that they have as their candidate:
- a Senator who hasn’t even completed his first term
- a young man who has no real experience in anything but local activism
- a man who has no foreign policy experience
- a man who is friendly with lots of extreme left-wing types who don’t go over well in the heartland.
- a man who has never managed or led a large organization — except his presidential campaign (which is mostly run by other people, anyway)
- a man who has never had a real job.
- a man with a wife who is a wild card
As always in life, be careful for what you wish for.
even as she plays to the same gullible audience that elected George W. Bush twice,
No wonder this sissy backs the elitist snob Obama.
Does anybody have any idea what the “surprise” might be?
I’m waiting for someone to reveal the true relationship between Hil and Huma.
I think if Hillary doesn’t drop out, she must be positioning herself for VP. If she takes huge number of popular vote and reasonable number of delegates he will have to offer it to her. I’d hate to have her a heartbeat away from the oval office while I was sitting in the chair.
I don’t think the fences will ever mend. Hillary is still on the attack.
That’s exactly what I mean. She’s not just spending donated contributions, she’s digging into her own pocket.
It’s an article of faith for the Clinton’s never to pay for anything if they can get a supporter or government agency to pay for it for them.
So, if she is willing to spend her own money, you can pretty much be sure she’s not playing for Vegas odds. Or, if she is, she’s the house.
Sounds like a big lib to me.....glad I didn’t know about him and will be sure to never read his work again.
Ah - perfect for the demonrats party....
I wont believe it until she says its over or until her feet are sticking out from under the house...
...which if the ‘conservative’ maha rushie has his way will be never...

...in other words, what they’d have would be John Kennedy in 1960...some disaster, huh...
