Doormen kicked Lee to death (Albanian in UK the main aggressor)
Romford Recorder ^ | May 2, 2008

Posted on 05/05/2008 7:04:28 PM PDT by joan

A GROUP of doormen stamped and kicked a man to death after refusing him entry into a club for looking too young, a court heard on Monday.

Lee Rayner, 30, of Franklin Road, Hornchurch, who was due to get married, was beaten and trampled as he lay helpless on the ground following a confrontation with doormen at the Opium Lounge in North Street, Romford, on June 16 last year.

The blows were so savage his skull was almost fractured in half and he later died from brain damage.

Doormen Johnives Kalu, 23, and Albanian Rustem Geca, 24, are standing trial at the Old Bailey accused of the murder of Mr Rayner.

Other doormen from the club have already pleaded guilty to attacking Mr Rayner's brother John, 21, who was also badly beaten in St Edwards Way.

The court heard the brothers were on a night out with four of their friends and by the time they got to the Opium Lounge, they were drunk. Prosecutor Anthony Leonard QC said: "Lee Rayner and his friend had queued to get into the club and when they got there the doormen asked if they were 21. They couldn't produce anything other than a banker's card and as a result were refused entry.

"Because they were in fact aged 27 and 30, this caused some resentment."

The court heard the group began to argue and shout at the bouncers and one - believed to be Lee Rayner - spat at female bouncer Charlotte Paul.

"That was the catalyst which prompted the gathering of the doormen," said Mr Leonard.

Although Mr Rayner's group then left and made their way down St Edwards Way, the furious doormen decided to avenge their female colleague, the court heard.

"Geca was particularly angry about the spitting and one of the other doormen had had to usher him into the club to get him away," said the prosecutor.

The court was told Geca and Kalu rounded up other doormen from the bar and set off in pursuit of Mr Rayner and his friends.

They eventually caught up with them in St Edwards Way, a few minutes later, it was said.

The prosecutor said: "Lee Rayner and his friends scattered as soon as they saw the doormen. Both brothers were attacked. John Rayner fell to the ground and was kicked and punched.

"At almost the same time his brother was attacked. Geca punched him twice in the head. Kalu then kneed him in the stomach and he fell to the ground.

"While on the ground his head was submitted to such force that it caused his skull to fracture almost the entire circumference. By far the most likely cause was that his head was stamped on."

The court heard how John Rayner escaped his attackers and ran to help Lee. He found his brother unconscious, blood pouring from his eyes and head.

John Rayner was attacked by Samuel Davison, 38, from Barking, and part-time doorman and postman Andrew Houchelli, 37, of Pettits Lane, Romford, who have since pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm and will be sentenced at the end of the trial.

Kalu, from Beckton, and Geca, from Dagenham, deny murder. The trial continues.

What I don’t understand is how the Albanians get to stay in the UK? This particular character was employed but how? I can understand Poles and Romanians etc. they’re part of the EU now, so they’re entitled to live and work in Britain, I can understand the descendants of Commonwealth subjects like West Indians and Pakistanis and Indians, but Albanians?

Albania didn’t even permit foreign travel up to twenty years ago so I cannot see how there can be any legitimate reason for Albanians living and working in the UK so how did this guy not only enter the country but also get a job there?

Maybe I’m being incredibly stupid but I can’t see how a man who is employed as a doorman could convince the immigration authorities that he is an asylum seeker or a student.

Is no one checking these things any more in the UK?

It sure would be nice to know where Romford, Barking, Hornchurch, etc. are. Sounds English or Australian. But who knows—could be Connecticut, Maine-—???

Isn't this the same country that always sneers at America's draconian liquor laws?

Don’t have an ID for the club “doorman” (bouncer)? Go home, get it, and come back. Or leave and make sure you have it the next time you show up there. Spitting on the bouncer isn’t going to get you into any club. What is so difficult?

Back in college, many, many moons ago, we were a couple of freshman having a blast at one of the local bars when somebody threw a cup of beer. One of the bartenders accused my buddy, TJ of throwing the beer (he did not) and called the bouncers over and they proceeded to escort him out of the bar. TJ balked at leaving and pleaded with the guys that they got the wrong guy and showed him that he even still had his beer in his hand, but to no avail.

TJ was an 18 year old blond kid from Long Island, NY and stood about 5’11” and about 165-170 lbs. The bouncers (2 of them) were each about 6’4” and 280-300 lbs. (They were actually varsity linemen on the football team). They picked TJ up under his arms and walked him out the door and tossed him onto the sidewalk. TJ came back to them and kept telling them that he didn’t throw any beer and they have the wrong guy, etc... The one bouncer he was pleading his case to was listening but refusing to budge, just standing there with his arms folded against his chest. The second bouncer who happened to be wearing glasses, was a little more agitated and agressive and decided that he had enough and pushed past the first bouncer and started yelling at TJ to get the f*** out and started backing TJ up across the sidewalk getting in TJ’s face and jabbing his finger in TJ’s chest, and threatening to kick TJ’s @$$ all the way down the street.

TJ started getting a little P.O.ed but steadily tried to stay in control of himself. You see, little did the bouncers know, but TJ was an advanced degreed black belt in a couple of martial arts (I forget which ones but one was Aikido(sp?) and I think there were two others, can’t recall exactly and I’m not terribly knowledgable about martial arts).

Anyhow, the bouncer with the glasses had gotten so wound up that he pushed and pushed TJ until he was backed up against a car and he kept leaning into him so that TJ was bending backwards over the fender when TJ finally slammed the guy back in the chest with both hands to push him away. TJ looked at the guy and told him that he was warning him and that he had enough. I cringed when I saw TJ start flexing his fingers. The bouncer noticed also and laughed and asked TJ if he wanted “to go” with the bouncer.

Seriously, TJ said, “Why not? It’s your funeral.”

The small crowd of bystanders waiting to get in all let out a “ooooooohhhh...” and I remember one voice calling out to the bouncer, “Aw, dude, I guess he told you!”

The bouncer came at TJ and tried to take a swing but before he could get his arm half way extended, TJ’s fist landed right between the bouncer’s eyes, snapping his glasses in half and splitting the guys nose wide open. He dropped like a sack of cement spilling blood all over the sidewalk. The other bouncer just stood there and his jaw dropped. I pushed through the bystanders and yelled to TJ, “Holy SH*T! Let’s get outta here!” as he we high-tailed it back to the dorms. The rest of the night TJ kept saying to himself, “Holy sh*t, I can’t believe that just happened, Holy sh*t, I can’t believe that just happened, Holy sh*t...”

I told him, “Dang, if I ever piss you off, please, just tell me... okay?”

“This is not an Albanian problem.”

Sadly, it is an Albanian problem. Albanian culture breeds extremely aggressive criminals. Why do you think Albanians control so much of the European sex trade and drug cartels? It isn't accident.

I’m in no way excusing the Albanian...certainly waaaay over the line. Having said that, in this day and age of HIV/AIDS, and other fluid-born pathogens, spitting in somebody’s face is a far more serious matter than it used to be.

Albanians are not welcome anywhere in Europe. And besides their penchant for violence and criminality, their blood feuds with each other are legendary.

Families will carry on feuds with other indefinitely.

But don’t say it has anything to do with Islam.

where Romford, Barking, Hornchurch, etc. are

I forgot to add to the title the information that this took place in the UK. Those towns you list are all in East London, England, more precisely.

Romford is a large suburban town in East London, England[1] and the principal settlement of the London Borough of Havering. It is located 14.1 miles (22.7 km) north east of Charing Cross and is one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan.[1] Romford was in the county of Essex before the creation of Greater London in 1965,[2] and was one of the three parishes which formed the ancient Liberty of Havering.

Barking is a suburban town in East London, England and the main district of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. It is a retail and commercial centre situated in the west of the borough and 9.1 miles (14.6 km) east of Charing Cross.

Hornchurch is a town in the London Borough of Havering in East London, England. It is a suburban development located 15.2 miles (24.5 km) east north-east of Charing Cross. Hornchurch is home to the Queen's Theatre, a modern 500-seat theatre located close to the town centre. Havering Sixth Form College is located in the town.

I can understand that. The Albanians have a culture that encourages vendetta and has little regard for the rule of law. So do Sicilians and Neapolitans, but no one condemns these people as a whole. Instead, these postings seem to come from people who are angry over Kosovo. Kosovo is the raw wound that will not go away on either side, and it's up to the rest of Europe to make sure that war does not break out there. Eventually these wounds will scar and perhaps there might even be reconciliation, as there is tentatively in Cyprus. However, it does not imply every Albanian is a criminal, and no one is willing to take the step to say “Because Albanians are criminals, Albanians should not have an independent state.”

Albanians do have an independent state. It's called Albania. They don't deserve it, because they are morons, but it exists. What can you say about a country where just about everyone lost their life savings on Ponzi schemes? Bizarre doesn't even come close.

I’d say that living for 50 years under extreme Communism made everyone extremely naive about how free market societies worked.

The Albanians have their own state Albania with a population of 3.2 million. There has been no official census, but Albanians are claimed to be over 90% of 2 million in Kosovo. Some argue that the real population of Kosovo is significantly less.

The Kurds have like 15 million in Turkey and more millions in Iraq, Iran, etc. yet they don't even have ONE state.

So why do the Albanians get an extra state - especially one which involved gradually chasing out the Serbs for decades (1980's media had articles on Serbs fleeing and violence being perpetuated by Kosovo Albanians who'd also sabotage electrical plants and other things to cause problems), and then finally (and during so-called "peace") ethically cleansing and keeping cleansed 200-300 thousands Serbs, Montenegrins, Roma and other minorities (including a few hundred Jews and Croats), systematically blasting out over 140 churches and monasteries (under the eyes of NATO/UN), destroying Serbian cemeteries, burning 10s of thousands of Serb and Roma homes, while confiscating many of the rest, etc.

What makes these backwards people worthy of having other nations come in and kill so they can get and extra one? And then put them on financial life support to the tune of billions over the span of a decade to keep it existing? It is not independent enough to stand on its own.

And it was they who initiated the killings and terrorism in the first place. Their design was to attack the police and draw reprisals to get the media attention. They also kidnapped and killed civilians, including Serb children.

Their getting Kosovo rewards terrorism and encourages them to eventually go after more (Macedonia, southern Serbia, perhaps Montenegro, part of Greece). They did attack in southern Serbia and Northern Macedonia. Their attacks were aided by Albanians in Kosovo and the injured went back to Kosovo to have their injuries treated by the NATO forces.
