Another poll by drive-by, another story. Clinton up by 7 pts, which is in complete contrast with NYT's poll for the same period showing Obama up by 12 pts.

Take your pick!!!

That’s funny! Both are Marxists. The media should have an equal amount of love and admiration for both. Let’s elect both and give them each a wing of the White House! One can take care of the socialists and the other can take care of the communists! ~sarc

LOL, now that the Democratic party is divided, their bias really shows. It is one thing to manipulate these polls when most of the MSM is on the same page with supporting the Democratic candidate. But when it is Democrat vs. Democrat, how badly these polls are manipulated becomes quite obvious.

I voted early here in Indiana on Saturday, our county is only one of three that lets people do this all during the week before an election, you can go to any place int he county and they will look you up and you can vote.

I asked for a Democratic ticket but it seems that if your mom is the local Republican judge and is overseeing the polling place she can laugh in your face and refuse. Kind of hard to argue with your mom over whether your a D or and R, especially since she is on the ballot running as precinct committeeman and loudly told everyone there she had to pull the knife out of her back from her own son.

Anyway, our country is about as blue as you can get in rural Indiana, and she was telling me that they have never, ever had as many people voting democrat before. A majority of ballots were listed as Democrat, so everyone knew people were switching for this primary and people were very outspoken as to who they were voting for - Hillary. I predict she will win Indiana hands down except for the Gary area and possibly the seventh district, no way is Barack pulling Indiana off.

I don’t know if it was Operation Chaos or not, but people are willing to forgo local elections and candidates to keep Obama from getting to the general election. I hope that our local and county seats don’t suffer because people are doing this though, I would hate to get a bunch of idiots on my zoning board because no one voted to keep them out.

USA -- 913 RV; the cBS poll of "671 adults, including 283 Democratic primary voters, was conducted Thursday through Saturday".

It is highly unlikely that over 1/3 of adults participated in the Democrat primary process. Unless they sampled Obama's church.

Both polls are flawed, the cBS poll is downright silly -- and is the sort of thing you might get if you left the polling to the college interns and everyone drove off to the Hamptons for a long weekend.

Both Gallup and Rasmussen have decent sample sizes, look at them if you want to make any sense of this. Both show McCain in better shape than Bush was at this point in 2004.

If’n I didn’t know any better, I’d think that the good pastor Wright was deliberately sabotaging Obama’s candidacy.....We’ll know if the NAACP throws Obama under the bus........or to the back of it......

I sure hope that "OP-CHAOS" doesn't backfire. Rush will look like the biggest fool of all time if it does.........

The Drive Bys are torn over who has the better prospects of winning in November.

Liberal Drive Bys have to get their story straight before they begin shilling for the Democrat candidate, dammit. Now does Wright hurt or HELP B. Hussein Obama?

In this Gallup poll, McCain tops Obama by 1%.
In the NYT poll, Obama has a 11% lead.
Let’s not forget that the NYT recently suggested that McCain had sex with a lobbyist,

“It is highly unlikely that over 1/3 of adults participated in the Democrat primary process.”

I went to vote early this past Sat. and there were 150-200 people in line. This was at a strong democrat precinct. The only time I’ve ever seen an equal amount of folks waiting to vote was in 2004 an hour before the polls closed and in that election there was 64% voter turnout.

In 2004, the presidential election turnout was up to 56.70% of all US citizens old enough to vote, breaking all recent records. The cBS poll implies that the overall primary turnout was higher than that. Typically, 15% of RV might vote in both R and D primaries combined. Nobody in my household has ever voted in a primary election. We consider ourselves independents, ie. we pull the levers individually for the Republican candidates.

The cBS poll is bogus.

Just so there is no confusion about which Gallup poll, here's the tracking poll:

From the start, the NYT has been trying to minimize the damage the Wright story is doing to the Obama campaign. Even before they released their worthless poll, they did a survey of cafe patrons in Indiana, all of whom (SURPRISE!) thought the Rev. Wright story was no big deal.

Meanwhile, all the non-NYT polls show Obama tanking.

Maybe the NYT is trying to make up for the damage that they did when they ran that article about the Rev. Wright in April of 2007, after Wright accompanied Obama to the Selma campaign stop. That was the article where Wright made the statement that Obama told him that he might have to distance himself from him at some point in the campaign.

US Census reports 64% voter turnout in 2004.
http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/releases/archives/voting/004986.html

I was commenting on the prior poster’s statement that he doubted 1/3 of Dem voters will participate in the 2008 primary process, which I don’t agree.
