It looks as if Cazayoux is going to have to close this gap entirely from East Baton Rouge Parish. Almost all the other parishes are in.

We had a strong storm system blow through here this morning, so it may have surpressed turnout. That, and the black Democrat who lost the primary has sent out a whisper campaign for black voters to stay home because he plans to run again in November.

I was noticing that at least 2 of the other candidates running are either Conservative or Republican (Hayes & Casey), always troublesome for us when we don’t have a completely unified field on our side. Casey alone (a former Buddy Roemer and Susan Molinari employee) could keep Jenkins from victory.

Notice the article conveniently leaves out Jenkins won LA by 100,000 votes outside Orleans Parish in 1996, and was the victim of mass-scale voter fraud thanks to the crooked Marc Morial and his cronies.

Republicans are going to be back down to 1970s and 1980s era levels after the November election. They move farther and farther to the left and get rewarded for it. Nice going, American voters. Now when taxes go sky high, more freedoms are lost, and we face more serious threats from terrorists, I suppose people will still blame Bush. Even long after he is gone.
So LA has now elected another “conservative” Democrat who will be loyal to Pelosi and the far left but get away with it.
I hope they run someone else in November. Jenkins is a multiple loser who needs to give it up I think. I think it is going to be damn near impossible to beat most Demo incumbents this year. Especially one who pretends to be “moderate.”
