LOUISVILLE, KY
While she said wished she could be in town for the Derby on Saturday, Clinton had some instructions for volunteers going to the race in her stead telling them I want everybody to place a little money on the filly.

Forget the Kentucky Derby. Ask her if we should go short or long in Cattle Futures.

You must be mistaken. Obama is a uniting force in American politics. He brings hope and change. He will unite us. After the Democrats decide on a nominee, the party will be united. The bitter clingers you described must be paid Republican Operatives attempting to Swiftboat someone.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He’ll give you the answer that you’ll endorse.
He’s always on a steady course.
Talk to Mr. Ed.
People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day
But Mister Ed will never speak unless he has something to say.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And this one’ll talk ‘til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well listen to this. I am Mister Ed.

You got it!
Obama hope change unity.
That’s the ticket!
To: samtheman
Plus, if Obama were to make a bet on the derby, he'd have to get specific, and the aura of invincibility would be gone.
"To say that a horse will win the derby implies that a horse will also lose the derby. But what about those horses who never got to run in the derby - who never got to race at all? Just because they were the wrong color. And their ears were freakishly large. And their middle name was 'Hussein'?"

She should have suggested placing bets on the old gray mare. Then when asked about the derby, said "What Derby?"
She's have hit it out of the park.

Next story: “When I visited my grandfather, he always took me to see Uncle Jeb who had a pony. Sometimes I would ride all day. I always wanted a horse of my own but all I wound up with was a horses _ _ _.”

I can’t believe I watched Mr. Ed and enjoyed it. I guess we liked the “Fun” the media provided. Not much fun left in it.

Good call, Hillary.
The filly came in second to a horse named “Big Brown,” broke her two front (elephant) ankles, and then had to be euthanized on the track.
What a terrible analogy for the Democratic Primary from Hillary’s point of view, huh?
