ISF, CF detain 26 suspected terrorists north of Baghdad
TIKRIT, Iraq In various operations in Diyala and Ninewa provinces, Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition forces detained 26 suspected terrorists May 3.
In Ninewa, nine suspected terrorists were detained in eastern Mosul, and 10 were detained during an intelligence-driven operation in southern Mosul.
In Diyala, seven suspected terrorists were detained. Three of the seven were detained in Baqubah.
As evidenced by these operations, Iraqi and Coalition forces are working effectively to identify, locate and detain terrorists in our efforts to disrupt their networks across northern Iraq. Iraqis recognize these terrorists for what they area foreign-led extremist organization that seeks to impose an oppressive rule through a campaign of violence, said Maj. Peggy Kageleiry, spokeswoman for Multi-National Division - North.

“The desperation of of the Mahdi army is apparent...”
OPINION:
I agree with this, but I have an additional note; the Mahdi Army, just like the Taliban, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. seem to use their down time for recruiting, restocking, seeking funds, and spreading propaganda.
“Been reading on the advances Coalition forces have made in the Bagdad suburb of Sadr City...”
YEP, YEP, YEP.
RE Egypt....that is great news...explosives located BEFORE being used by the terrorists.
Thank You Jesus!
Amen.
Thanks Oorang.
I like good news.
You’re welcome Cindy and thanks for the positive view.
