'Believe homosexuality is wrong? SHUT UP!'
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | April 29, 2008

A case triggered by a school district's instructions to students to "shut up" if they held religious beliefs that did not support the practice of homosexuality is being appealed to the full U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Officials with the Alliance Defense Fund have confirmed they are taking the case involving Timothy Morrison to the next level after a panel decided against a judicial ruling endorsing the student's First Amendment rights in the dispute with the Boyd County, Ky., Board of Education.

"Christian students shouldn't be prohibited from expressing their beliefs," ADF Senior Legal Counsel Joel Oster said. "The school adopted a policy that prohibited students from sharing their beliefs that homosexual behavior was wrong simply because others might find the message insulting.

"If students violated this policy, they not only faced suspension, they could also be turned over to the police," Oster said. "Several students, including Timothy, chose not to speak rather than face such dire consequences. Timothy is entitled to a judicial ruling vindicating his rights."

WND reported earlier when the court was critical of the school district's "gay appeasement" policy instituted as a result of a lawsuit over the establishment of a homosexual student club.

"This case is about government policies specifically targeting speech and threatening severe punishment. Plaintiff need not subject himself to punishment before he has suffered an injury-in-fact," the firm said.

The promotion of homosexuality in government run indoctrination centers has more to do with socialists using the homosexual issue as a means to replace our Democratic Republic with socialism than homosexual rights.

"So … no matter where you go, no matter what you do, no matter who you meet, you are going to find people that you don't like," the psychologist says. "You're going to find people that you disagree with. You're going to find people that you don't like the way they act. It can't be avoided, not, not anywhere in the world, it can't be avoided. You're going to find people that you believe are absolutely wrong. You're going to think … That is so wrong … But here is the kicker, just because you believe, just because you don't like them, just because you disagree with them, just because you believe they are wrong, wholeheartedly, absolutely, they are wrong. Just because you believe that does not give you permission to say anything about it. It doesn't require that you do anything. You just respect, you just exist, you continue, you leave it alone. There is not permission for you to point it out to them."

If someone is about to drive over a cliff I'm gonna say something and I don't need anyones permission to do so.

If someone is proclaiming loudly that evil is good I reserve the right to say "No it isn't".

The other part of this is that ACLU is clearly on the anti-first amendment (free speech) side.  They always publically lie and claim they protect free speech of any opinions but it's clear they are just promoter of liberalism even if that involves anti-speech restrictions in the courts that gets a tax exemption.

Part of the diversity training program mandated by the school was a video that instructed students to withhold Christian viewpoints about homosexual behavior.   example :

"Just because you believe that does not give you permission to say anything about it. It doesn't require that you do anything. You just respect, you just exist, you continue, you leave it alone. There is not permission for you to point it out to them."

Well it seems strange that it is always framed in religiosity, as if that’s the real target.

What about atheists who have strong objections to buggery? I’m just sayin’.

“school district’s instructions to students to “shut up” if they held religious beliefs that did not support the practice of homosexuality”

Democrats, liberals, homosexuals and the MSM are undermining and destroying our country and teaching young children to accept homosexuality. The constitutional rights to freedom of religion and freedom of speech are being systematically destroyed.

You have it in a nutshell, stayathomemom. We are GUARANTEED freedom of speech under our constitution.

This next election for the presidency is crucial with regard to the next judicial appointments.

Do I take that to mean you think McCain will nominate persons to the Supreme Court who will abide by the U.S. Constitution?

And if so why?

McCain could give a damn about your constitutional rights, or have you forgotten?

Ain’t it funny how that free speech thingie works...

Actually this policy is attacking speech and thought. By stifling speech, 'gay appeasment policies' hope that contrary thought will die out.

“By stifling speech, ‘gay appeasment policies’ hope that contrary thought will die out.”

I agree that killing off opposing thoughts is one of their goals but they are doing a lot more than hoping. They are working very hard to push the gay agenda. Those of us that oppose the gay agenda have largely been silenced.

Schools and school officials pushing this stuff should be shut down and run out of town. Instead they are given bigger budgets and more time to advance their agenda. If this class happens to get shut down the same people will be allowed to stay in their positions and try again in 6 months.

That's becauase every single one of them works with/for homosexuals. They're everywhere in the media and not averse to taking people down who criticize them.

Ask Dr. Laura what happens to you when you criticize the new-butt-agenda.

The orders went out a while ago, to ALL clinical (ie:school in this case) psychologists that they must speak of homosexuality in positive lights only. The problem is, in this case, that this is KY, and you don't mess with the kids of KY parents! This will go all the way to the SC if need be, they may even hope it does.

What the quack forgets is that when someone is trying to tell someone else to believe sodomy is good the other person has the right to give back their own opinions.

What these perverts are trying to do is say that only they have the right to state their opinion and everyone else is supposed to just shut up and not return with their own opinion.

Homosexuality, being “gay”, is nothing but two guys sodomizing each other. Sodomy is nothing to celebrate.

A shrink says, “You just respect, you just exist, you continue, you leave it alone. There is not permission for you to point it out to them.” and a school district's instructions to students to “shut up” if they held religious beliefs that did not support the practice of homosexuality.

I want the school district officials to “shut up”. The want the psychologist to “shut up”.
How come the only people who are being forced to “shut up” are the ones who say that homosexuality is wrong?
If you agree with that lifestyle, they encourage you to speak.
