I’m jaded but this headline did not shock me even slightly. I’ve interviewed people for store jobs. A good number were on parole.

Feel sorry for her at least. Here she is with a child to support and is trying to find gainful employment and this yahoo is out on the floor stealing from her potential employer. I’m sure that’s one job she won’t get called back for.
He was watching the baby, til he dropped the baby while he was trying to get away. Thankfully the child was in a car seat.
He may be “getting some” just from his new friend, Bubba.

My mom had a purse stolen by a couple of people pretending they were looking for a job where she worked.
It’s been years since I hired for retail but I noticed the same thing, my own lack of surprise. The last thing we ever wanted to do was advertise a job opening because we would have these winners streaming in all day, drunk and high and dirty.
