DC and Maryland lady shooters:
At 3:00 Wednesday, April 30, Second Amendment Sisters is sponsoring a photo shoot with two news organizations at a shooting range near the DC area. Junior shooters are welcome with a parent or guardian over 21.
You are welcome to bring your own pistol, revolver, or air pistol or borrow one at the event. Due to the way the range is set up, weather will not be a factor.
We will have range safety officers and coaches on hand, so even complete beginners are welcome to join us and receive one-on-one coaching so you can enjoy yourself in a safe environment.
You are welcome to bring your own hearing and eye protection or borrow ours.
Please let us know if you will attend, if you need to borrow guns or hearing/eye protection. Contact our Maryland Coordinator by email (MD_Coord@2asisters.org) if you would like to be there.
bttt and e-mailed for details.
The e-mail is bouncing back not delivered.

You'll shoot your eye out!
Oh my LORD! I read “Maryland and DC area SNIPERS invited to Pistol Shooting Event” and I almost peed myself!
It’s beginning to look like our we’ve been hacked. Please call our toll-free number to sign up for the event: 877-271-6216.
ping!
I can’t come to this, but are any other Virginia events planned for the near future? I’d like to get back into it.
The correct email address is:
MD_Coord@2asisters.org.
see posts 9 & 10
I shoot in my Virginia backyard (all 7.5 acres of it) every weekend, and sometimes more often than that.
With only 1/3 acre, there’s not room for much of a range. That pesky HOA...
We have new HOA officers now, but when I first moved in, the ones we had then came by just to ask if I would mind registering my guns with them. Yes, I would.
DC Chapter BANG, POW!
Any word on the AAR for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner?

Sheeeesh...what the Hell?! Sorry about the double-posts, everyone...Dave
SAS is getting email again, so any ladies who wish to attend the photo shoot near DC tomorrow at 3:00 PM can email md_coord@2asisters.org for more information.
That’s OK, Dave. Some of us have to read it twice before it sinks in! ;-)
staytrue is doing it.
staytrue is still doing it.
Awesome...staytrue ROCKS.
Shush, you loud-mouthed, cigar-smokin’, ornery son-of-a-gun...Dave
Heh heh heh...hey, I resemble that remark...LOL!!
Rats! I have to work
Hope you have a big success.
Why are these things held when any conservative, gun owning, responsible person is busy making a living? I sure wish I could retire...
hey, that is one great site, I’ll bookmark it for my wife.
ping !
Maybe we should work on getting a new "Personal Day" written into our employment contracts--one day a year to go shooting!

BEST IDEA I’VE HEARD ALL YEAR LONG!!!!
Sensei and I were just saying on Friday that we should organize a FReeper Shoot. I just got my CCW permit last Friday (Woo hoo!!) and could definitely use some pointers... hint hint.
Basil, thanks for the invite. Please let us know about future events - if you can, with a little more advance warning. I’d gladly take a vacation day for an event like this!!
I like that idea! A “Personal Shooting Day” along with the regular leave.
Congrats on the CCW!!!! I can’t come close to describing how jealous I am - Stooopid Maryland! :(
Thanks!! Agreed... stooopid Maryland. Maybe you should write O’Malley and let him know that that would be one more thing he could tax you on!! Then he would probably change his stance!! LOL!!
I will now be extra polite.

Didn’t Shooters Paradise burn down last year? I don’t think the range is open, just the showroom. That was a great place...
Were it not for the short notice, I would be there. Havign said that, I hope we can get a Sunday shoot together. On Target up in Jessup, MD would be a great place. I could even reprint my famous Osama Bin Laden targets with the 50 point off center target for directly between the eyes.
Too bad you can't make the SAS shoot-but I understand about the short notice. When Jane holds another one, she will be able to have a longer lead time.
Members of SAS get together for fun shoots quite often. If you (and anyone else who is interested) go to our website (2ASisters.org) and sign up for a membership, you will be on her notification list for upcoming events. The Maryland Chapter of SAS is quite active.
You are correct. The NRA needs to update their list of ranges.
Sounds like a plan!
You don’t have to be too worried...yet. I’m just beginning, so I shoot like a Walter Reed security guard!! LOL!!!
We still have room if more ladies wish to show up for the SAS ladies’ photo shoot/shoot today at 3:00 PM. The location is at Twelfth Precinct Pistol and Archery Club at 450 Harwood Road, Harwood, Maryland (the property is on the line between Harwood and Davidsonville). It’s a bit over a mile from Route 2 and the Harwood Market. Find a map and detailed directions from various points at www.twelfthprecinct.org (click “directions” in the left pane).
Their regular pistol league meets after the ladies’ shoot, and beginners are welcome. The league is free to first-time league shooters, and dirt cheap otherwise.
It’s a covered range, but the weather is expected to be sunny with a few clouds and cool. There is extra ear and eye protection shooters can borrow.
yeah i saw this, The Mrs only shoots full auto nowadays.
