This is not about entertainment. This is about winning. She is postured as a centrist and centrists can win the Votes That Determine Elections — namely independent moderates.
She Must Be Snuffed Out NOW. Obama must win the upcoming primaries. There must be no case for her to make in Denver.
This is not about giving FReepers a chance to sit and eat popcorn. This is about who nominates USSC justices. It is about keeping a troop presence on the 3rd largest reserves in the world. And it is about some moderation imposed on a Democrat Congress that will allow taxes to raise in 2010.
Obama cannot win the middle. McCain will if Obama is the opponent. She can win the middle because he has been parking there for weeks chasing superdelegates. She needs to be stopped and RIGHT NOW. The risk is ENORMOUS otherwise, and for what? To entertain FReepers? For Rush to swagger?
Ask Rush if it’s okay if every listener turns him off permanently if she is elected and see if he continues his effort.
Wishful thinking. It will be a very close race.
Excepting, of course, for the integrity part.
I don’t like any members of this posse, but I think they are right in their aasertion that Obama would be a weak candidate in the national election. I am praying that Obama is nominated, so that McCain will win. You don’t have to like Lanny David to concede that he has a point that HRC can get votes from old folks and white women. These two groups, particularly old folks, are willing to vote for HRC, but they’d choose McCain over Obama.
As an article in yesterday’s National Review cautioned, “Always take the Clintons seriously.”

I don’t think that Snob-ama will lose 49 states, but I do think that if independents become focused on the fact that
- he is the most liberal person ever to run for president,
- is all-abortion-all-the-time,
- is a friend and aid of terrorists,
- is a black nationalist racist,
- a hater of Jews,
- a hater of Catholics,
- a hater of religion,
- an anti-gun zealot,
- and a complete economic and cultural marxist,
that he might not win as many as 15 states.
Which would be a good thing.
If you've seen Hillary's backside lately, you can see how this is possible.
If Barry O is the nominee, look for the Clinton flacks to be out there cutting him off at the knees—both covertly and overtly—so that Her Heinous can have another shot in 2012.
Hell. Lefties are already hinting around about making it a crime to be voting while a white male, judging by Nora Ephron’s recent spewings.
Nah. I want to see them both struggle and lose momentum for as long as possible. Let her make her case at the Pepsi Challenge.
