Who? Me?

Wright is speaking at the National Press Club?
What am I missing? Why has this purveyor of hate all of a sudden become the toast of the liberal media?
I guess I just answered my own question.
I’m sure they’ll cheer him.
It’s a sold out event - in every way it seems.
Wright is Wrong!
Good one. Thanks!
Thanks.
This is one event Code Pink won’t disrupt.
"code PINKO" is a bunch of "DEAD between the ears" FRUITS & (leftist)NUTS.
wish i could come, but alas i'm still in TX trying to settle my aunt's estate = what a MESS!

Happy freepin'! I sure wish I could be there.

It might never be any more appropriate.

While at Trinity he developed nearly 100 active ministries/outreach programs and seven separate corporations that continue to serve the greater Chicago community.
Anyone care to guess if any or all of those seven corporations get their funding from taxpayer dollars via Chicago 'Rat party "grants" and other government allocations? I also have to wonder if the Wrong Revrrrund Wright gets any salary from those seven corporations?
Gosh, I can sure see how he would be a heroic figure to the DC "press"! I think the Wrong Revrrrund Wright, Barack Hussein Obama and the MSM would call me a gun-clinging, bible-reading, bitter, cynical, conservative.
Even these ones? ---

BUMP!
Disgusting how they attempt to make him sound so important and “good”.
That’s going to be on interesting freep, if you ask me.
The pictures out to be downright entertaining.
out = ought
We may have a larger crowd of like-minded folks to join in singing "God Bless America" outside Wright's damage-control appearance at the NPC.
Save your singing voices for Monday morning, everybody!
...aha - that's exactly what it is. You guys gotta be there to make sure at least a few hard-balls are thrown. Just hope the MSM pays at least some attention to you. That would be awesome. obaMA can't come out looking like a victim in all of this.
God bless you guys.
you all should have a great FReep. Hope someone has a guitar to play along with the God Bless America & other “selected” music.
Looking forward to the AAR & pix.
Missing you all
i'd guess that most all of us FReepers are just "out of step" with "modern America".

Interesting mention this morning on a local “black” radio station.
They were criticizing J Wright for accepting the invitation of a “white” organization after he has refused to be interviewed on their radio show.
They were calling him an ‘amnesiac.’
Another thought —
E J Dionne has an article in Investors Business Daily, claiming that the ad run in NC which shows video of Rev Wright’s rantings, is “playing the race card.”
Yet the apologists FOR the Rev claim that what he has said is typical of what people hear on Sundays in certain churches across America. They are using their racial ‘difference’ as an excuse.
This double standard/couble talk needs to be exposed.
ROTFLOL! Y'all have fun now, ya hear?!?!
That's one heck of a large cell group!
Wright when Obama thought it was over
His lightning-rod former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is poised to reignite one of the most damaging controversies for the presidential candidate by jumping into the spotlight with a PBS interview Friday night and a Washington speech next week.
Wright said the media coverage of his incendiary sermons has been "unfair," "unjust," "untrue" and "devious," according to interview excerpts.
I think at 8 AM we need a God Bless America thread and a “SING IN” here on FR.
Anyone who can call in direct from the rally?
^

Do you guys mind if I tag along?
BUMP back to you Spirit.
Wish I could be there.
No problem.
Thank you kristinn and all the DC chapter!

Excellent freep choice. I will try to think of sign ideas. His sermons and comments should be target-rich.
Give the old charlatan a real skewering!
Context For Reverend Wright...(READ PORTIONS OF HIS SERMONS)
As properly discerned by the God Bless America crowd, he was not taken out of context.
“No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.”
In other words, do not act like Rev Wright does during his “church” sermons.
I sure hope Freepers are shown on tv...maybe Fox will show something on it...
Man the presentation was shocking.. even for that creep.
Did any FReepers get in? Looking foward to the AAR... hopefully the FReepers were able to stay & get some comments from the attendees as they leave.
fwiw, i believe that he unwittingly has begun the process of SINKING Obama's campaign.
it will NOT help "duh big Oh" that The Nation of Islam is PROVIDING PROTECTION TO "revrund wrong" (btw, there were two "Fruit of Islam" thugs standing around "revrund wrong" at the NPC.)
the FOI is the same group of THUGS that "protects" Louis Farrakhan.

I do know that the plan seems to be to have signs and dialog with people when the are arriving, thus the reason for the Free Republic event starting a bit before the speech.
Hopefully they will get reactions from the attendees as they leave.
I think he's been unwittingly used as a pawn to sink Obama's campaign.
I never in a million years thought the MSM would allow Obama to become the Dem candidate...they worship at the Clinton alter. They knew this guy would say inflammatory things and that would be the end of the Obama problem.
