In her PA "I'm the WINNER speach", Hillary promised to end the "War on Science".
Was she endorsing, or CALLING OUT mr. gore?

What exactly is the war on science? Hillary has talked about this a lot in the campaign but is never specific. Does she mean that whole stem cell research thing? Or Bush not being on board with global warming? What the heck do they mean by war on science?

I think it refers to the claims of NASA’s James Hansen that he has been censored by the Bush Administration. In the early 1970’s Hansen was a global cooling alarmist, and then switched to become a global warming alarmist. It’s all “climate change”, so Mr. Hansen can claim he’s always been consistent: in his estimation the sky is always falling!
There are some folks at various govt agencies in DC who claim they have not been able to speak or publish freely because their findings conflict with Administration policy.
It is difficult to know what to make of these allegations. It’s always easier to claim your work is being suppressed on political grounds than to admit that it needs revision or that it isn’t up to snuff. Especially if you are a RAT who hates the current administration.
OTOH, it is always possible that there are a few idiot appointees in the Administration who have done something stupid relative to some of their career scientists. Regardless, it is pure BS to claim that a “war on science” exists in the Administration.
If we find out one of us ought to explain it to her.

Ask yourself why most of the scientists have left this site (those who were not banned).

Rather, she intends to institute what amounts to latter-day Lysenkoism, to wit, that scientific research and -- more importantly, ''results'' -- be adjusted, forcibly of course, to fit her and her party's agenda.
