I have four cats, and they always stay indoors. But there’s at least seven roaming the block.

I lost five cats after moving back to Pennsylvania from Cat leukemia...it’s spread via sex and blood. There is a shot for it, but they were infected before we got them shots, and two replacement cats were already infected as kittens...
Just find a few tomcats with it, and let ‘em rip.
I’ve had feral cats around my barn for years that I have fed and the numbers stay relatively constant for one reason or another. I try to trap the females in live traps and get them spayed.
People would probably have more animals spayed and neutered if veterinary prices weren’t so high. I consider the veterinary community to be part of the problem because they don’t do much in the way of monetary relief to help people get there animals fixed. Vaccinations for animals are more costly in a lot of cases than human vaccinations. This is a rip-off.
This guy can blab about a cat explosion, but I’d be more worried about the explosion of the Hispanic and Muslim poopulations than cats.

I work with an anti-gun, animal activist. She won’t harm spiders, snake or anything else that I can detect. However, when it comes to feral cats, she wants the exterminated on sight. She issue is that they are one of the few animals that kill just to kill.
there has been the same flap here in the last couple of days. Some people keep feeding the things and others want them gone so they stop killing the birdies...others want to relocate them somewhere where they can kill different birdies that also happen to be endangered - as well as become FOD...
What? There’s no such thing as feral cats! Feral cats are only feral — because we made them that way! Just look at Michael Vick’s pit bulls....

My complex has a large feral cat comunity most of them are long haired and have included Maine Coons, Birmans and Long haired Calicos and some other exotic types. I have lived here for 15 years and have never seen a rat or mouse on the premises.
Feral cats are why God invented shotguns.
