Not my idea of fun.

Polar bears kill people up around Churchill on Hudson's Bay every year.

Not surprising that alcohol is often implicated in polar bear fatalities.

Is it legal to sell alcohol to polar bears?

Oh My! Don't let the Goracles see that pic - they'd say "Last polar bears dies of starvation"

I identify with this bear tho' - we had the first great warm day here today = and this is just what I did - also in my 'bare' suit

"They lose all their normal inhibitions about eating humans, huh?"

Well, yes. That's just the point.

For that matter alcohol is implicated in most polar bear teen-age pregnancies.

Work place accidents, bankruptcies, spouse abuse...
Same thing.

I mean for crying out loud look here:
Passed out dead drunk. It's pathetic, but typical and emblematic of what goes on in the North.

It's a national scandal I tell you.

Hey, this is way off-topic, but I was very proud last night because I found out the old KC-135 I was crew chief of has joined The Maine-iacs!

When I had her she was called The Spirit of Plattsburgh, but I love it that she's a Maine bird now because I'm from Maine and my Dad was in the Maine ANG bac in the day.

LOL. I get it. As a child, I was perhaps the worst model builder in the entire State of Colorado. Glue all over and I was completely uninterested in reading the instructions. I just started gluing pieces together that looked like they belonged there. I don't think I ever successfully finished a model. (I'm pretty confident I would have been megadosed on ritalin had I grown up in the 90's. One look at my models and it would have been straight to the shrink.)

To my knowledge, I have not improved one bit as a scale model builder in my golden years.

BTW, the screen name refers to my business, which is computer modeling. To build good models of that type, you have to do you best to break them. Now, however, I declare that ModelBreaker is a double reference and includes my childhood skill and renown as a scale modeler.
