A Democratic lawmaker admits he voted for absent House members to give a bill to remove the state sales tax on food the margin it needed to pass.
Representative Randy Hinshaw of Meridianville said Wednesday he was only doing what was best for his House district ...
Hinshaw declined to say how many machines he voted or which members he voted for.
He would say only, "I voted some members' machines around me."

There, fixed!!
Should be prima facie cause for ejection.
The US has got to wake up to a pervasive culture of corruption. It’s everywhere.
But this was a good Democrat voting on behalf of other members. Nancy Pelosi said the culture of corruption is due to REPUBLICAN corruption.
Good Democrats can’t be corrupt or held to any standards. This guy did it in the best interest of his district, so that’s ok because he’s a good Democrat.
Now, if a Republican had done this, then it would be crucifixion time.
And.... since he is a DEMOCRAP ... all this is is a resume enhancer for him.
Next thing you know, dead legislators will be voting, and legislators voting who represent districts that don’t exist. lol!
They just can’t help it. it’s WHO they are and what they do best.

A top House lawmaker was tending to personal business in sunny St. Croix on Tuesday when he was mysteriously recorded voting on seven key budget measures, the Herald has learned - a blatant violation that harks back to the phantom voting scandal a decade ago.
State Rep. Charles Murphy (D-Burlington) acknowledged he was in the Virgin Islands, not in the House chamber, when the phantom votes were cast on his behalf.
House Speaker Salvatore, Democrat Canton, (The Anamal) DiMasi, who is responsible for ensuring House rules are observed, quickly denounced the phantom voting violation involving Murphy after being contacted by the Herald late yesterday.
