Well, in hopes that you are sincere and not trying to make fun of us .........

Conservatism means that you honor the Consitutation of the United States and seek to protect it.

Conservatism means that each person is free to use their own talents to succeed in life and that the government is not there taking all of their earnings and giving them to those that seek to do nothing and expect the government to take care of them.

Conservatives do not believe in the government confiscating all of their earnings received through sacrifice and hard work to use it as the government wishes while promising the public that they will have all needs taken care of by the government.

We know that people in government will use the funds for their personal accumulation of wealth, will keep the poor, poor so that they can control them for future elections promising that they, the government will tax the rich to redistribute the wealth to the poor. It never happens but the poor willingly give over their freedom to the government hoping to get the funds of the rich.

Enough for now. I am sure there are conservative experts here that can give you the beliefs to help you understand. In fact, it might help the drive by liberals as they read over the comments.

I, unlike some others on this board, take your post seriously and have tried to come up with a short concise reply that would get a newbie on the right track.

Conservatives are mean and have short tempers and make fun of people that should be over at the Huffington Post or DU. We generally don't post things while our bongs are lit.( although I still wonder about some here). If you are from another country and English is a second language, then a conservative is probably dropping the JDAM on your hideout and a liberal is the one selling you the stuff in your bong. If you are an invader from outer space, then a conservative will be the one to order a "shoot down" and a liberal will be the one that believes you came in peace. ( I got that from "Mars Attacks" and "Independence Day").

I hope that's enough to get you started on the right track because a conservative believes you should do your own work and pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. If you can't find your bootstraps you probably are wearing sandals. Getting "bootstraps" is an absolute MUST to becoming a conservative.

I hope this has helped in some small way. If it hasn't then wait a day or two while you sober up and try again.
