CROWN POINT -- Hillary Clinton showed her Midwestern roots by enjoying a couple mugs of Old Style on Sat. night at Bronko's restaurant.
She also drank a shot of Crown Royal whisky with mayors David Uran of Crown Point and Tom McDermott of Hammond before settling in for pizza in the bar.
She chatted with McDermott and Uran and his family for a half hour as patrons of the packed restaurant looked on.
"I pulled them draft Old Styles, and then I asked the senator if she wanted a shot of Crown Royal," bartender Russ Panning said. "She said 'Sure,' and she drank both drinks."

My hubby and myself were wondering what the reaction would be if Bush or McCain had been slaming down booze on the campaign trail.
They would be automatically declared alcoholics.
My best guess? Hillary is no stranger to boozin’ it up, after all she has had Slick to try and cover for for years.
I’m sure the same matter of fact language would have been used back in 2000/2004 if this had been GWB.
