At least I can go to bed at night knowing that I am being intellectually honest when reporting on the problems of teen violence, unlike michelle who selectively picks her outrage for greed and crass political reasons.

Excellent, Dane! I fully expect you to be intellectually honest and to call for the deportation of everyone illegally in our nation, regardless or race, religion, age, or sex. After all, we wouldn't want it to be said that you selectively favor non-enforcement of certain laws for crass personal or monetary reasons.

That part breaks my heart! They never taught their kid how to fight back, how to defend herself?! Probably taught her to "be nice" and "there's no need for violence in this world" or some other bleeding heart crap that will go nowhere in a situation such as this.

When she was cornered next to the door all I could think was 'slam! your foot down on the side of that girl's knee, open the door and run'. Of course, in our stupid PC society she would likely be the one in trouble now, but better that than beat to unconscious.

Exactly! She was probably told "fighting never solved anything" or "fighting back just brings you down to their level." My daughter will know that if she's cornered in a house like that and the odds are 8:1 against her, she needs to get out of that house by any means possible, even if it means clawing some faces, punching a couple of kidneys, or, like you said, tearing some ACLs by bending someone's knee in a direction it twern't designed to go. She needs to understand that she could very well be fighting for her life.

After watching that sickening beating, I have to come to the conclusion that if she would have fought back, she might be dead right now. After seeing only 3 minutes of the actual beating you can see her being taunted and had she actually fought back they would have beat her to death no doubt about it.
