(AGI) - Bucharest, apr. 4 - US policy towards Iran is wrong: the Islamic republic must be helped out to come out of isolation and must not be threatened. This is the sense of the solution proposed by Vladimir Putin to handle relations between Washington and Teheran. According to a diplomatic source Putin said that "No one can seriously think that Iran would dare to attack the US. Instead of backing Iran into a corner it would be much more sensible to jointly dream up a way to help Iran gain greater transparency".
Yah, thatll work! /S
“No one can seriously think that Iran would dare to attack the US.
Not directly perhaps .. Using a 3rd party is ideal and 1 of the oldest tactics known . Mr. Putin has been relieved of his command so perhaps a visit with your paramoor on the black sea is appropriate .
‘Threatening’ Iran hasn’t worked yet, and probably won’t work in the future —
Bombing Iran into kibble-sized rubble, however, has distinct possibilities....
Well, Hell, Vlad, go for it! You ain’t doing diddly squat, except telling us what you would do if you were gonna do anything at all! Vlad, how do you say “fart on a hot skillet” in Russian?
He is right.
Putin is arming Iran with Nukes.
Threating Iran will not work.
Iran is the proxy for the KGB.
We must threaten Moscow directly for ALL of Irans actions.
And Putin wants his 'oil' he bought from old Saddam... so Iran is his tool in seeking to drive US out of Iraq.
Russia are absolutely out of their minds nuclear arming Iran. They are going to end up getting someone nuked.
Yes "sane and rational" Putzin thinks the US wants to install the missle shield in Europe so they can attack Russia.
> No one can seriously think that Iran would dare to attack the US.
I seem to recall something about an Embassy in Tehran, back in Jimmah’s time as POTUS.
Putin is clearly either kidding or he isn’t a student of History. Those whackadoos in Iran would have no compunction about attacking America.
Really, Vlad? Tell you what. Whenever I think of those "Israel and America are the Devil" speeches, something comes to mind:
Funny how that happens, you know?
You, Vlad, seem to have forgotten your own September 2004 problem in Beslan.
Remember Beslan? Remember what the Islamicists did to those school children? They would love to do it again, Vlad. That is why they must be crushed, and that is why their nations need to be made free.
President Bush is right when he says democracies don't war against each other...they trade.
Of course, Vlad, you're not too interested in democracy, are ya?
Yep, Putin has a 444 day gap in his history book.
Why should anyone believe what this KGB stooge has to say. He is a liar just like all good commies are. He is protecting Iran so that he can continue to sell them weapons and technology (he can’t do this w/ Iraq anymore now that Saddam is roasting in hell).
When China dropped a dime on the Mullahs by revealing Iran’s nuke information to the UN, some of us speculated that China was sticking a thumb in Russia’s eye. With Putin coming out blocking for Iran, I’m thinking that this is true. Also, Putin’s whining on behalf of Iran means to me, that the isolation policy IS WORKING.
I think you are right, Ahmadinejad yesterday was whinning to other countries to ignore the west and dump our influence. Interestingly enough, Putin had done that last Sept. in Kazakhstan along with China and other Central Asian nations.
> Yep, Putin has a 444 day gap in his history book.
The sad fact is that this same 444 day gap is also in the history books of many people in the West who firmly believe that Iran ought to be appeased and that there would be no point in invading them anytime soon.
Make no mistake: Iran is a force that will need to be dealt to decisively, one day. And as each day elapses the task will become more and more difficult. One day soon it could well be that Iran will be too dangerous to deal to. When that day comes, Iran will still need to be dealt to, but the cost of doing so may be nuclear.
The sooner the tanks roll into Tehran the better, IMO.
