Jeremiah Wright Loves America - Oh Really?

Alan: You know, Reverend Wright is an American citizen, and I don’t see what’s wrong with an American citizen criticizing his country. You know, when you criticize something, that’s because you care about it and love it. Other than the comment of injecting AIDS in black people, I think most of what he said is very accurate. And putting your head in the sand, and saying other countries are worse than this, you know, I criticize my child, not somebody else’s child, because I want that child to be the best child possible. So I only criticize my country, not other countries, because I want my country to be the best possible. So comparing it, I don’t see where you get off doing that.

DP: Okay, has the Reverend Wright apologized and retracted?

Alan: I don’t feel he needs to. This the opinion…

DP: Wait, he has said, wait, wait, wait. The government of my country has lied about not inventing AIDS, and injecting blacks with it, and I don’t need to apologize?

Alan: I think that was a misstatement.

DP: Well, but he doesn’t…wait, wait, wait. It’s irrelevant. He doesn’t. If I announced on the air your name, and last name, and said you were a rapist and child molester, but otherwise, I said I love you and I’m only calling you a child molester because I want you, Alan, to improve. Now it’s a bloody lie that you’re a child molester, and I have libeled you in front of the country. But it doesn’t matter because I love you. And I’m supposed to believe that, Alan? You think I’m an idiot?

DP: He can’t stand this country. You’re a fool.

DP: He can’t stand the country. He hates it. He says God damn America, not God bless it, because he hates it. He’s angry.

Alan: It doesn’t matter if he says that about a friend, God damn a friend? I mean, I could have said that about their mother, but they love that.

DP: Yeah, have you…well, really, you’ve said that to your mother, God damn you, Ma?

Alan: Well, maybe not.

DP: And you love her? Well, I don’t want to be your mother. I’ll tell you that, Alan. I’m sick of this stuff. I’m sick of it. He loves his country. God damn America, not God bless America. I love America though. I love America. I make up lies about it. Alan, I’ll make up lies about you and tell you I love you. Man, I don’t want to be loved by any leftist. They’re notion of love is very different from mine. I will crap on you, I will lie about you, I will say the most vile things about you, but it’s because I love you. I love America. I will say the most vile things about it. I will have contempt for anybody who waives the flag about it. I have contempt for people who say God bless America. I have contempt for people who wear a little flag pin on their lapel. But I love America. I don’t want to be loved by a leftist. Thank you. With love like that, America doesn’t need enemies. Oh, please. Please, folks, I’ve had it with that. Wright has pushed me over. I can’t handle that anymore. We love America, that’s why we crap on it every day and make up lies about it, and say that we go into countries for their natural product, and we murder tens and hundreds of thousands and millions, and with the greatest rapists on Earth. But we love it. I don’t know why you love it. I would not love America if I had a leftist view of it. I wouldn’t. I would…at least, I would have the honesty to say I don’t love it, it stinks. Be honest, lefties. Be honest. If you think this way about America, what the hell do you love about it? I would not love any country that I perceived of in the ways the left perceives America. It’s not lovable. I believe love is earned, folks. I do. I don’t believe in unconditional love. Not for countries, and not for people. And if a country is a child molesting, nation-destroying, raping, murderous, out for oil only imperialist power, that injects blacks with AIDS, a disease it invented to kill people, why do you love it? You are dishonest to yourselves, dear lefties. You have the most bizarre notion of either America or of love. We love it. We love it. We will crap on it all the time, but we love it. You treat your wives like that? You treat your husbands like…I love you. I will say the most despicable things about you on a daily basis, and believe you are vile, but I love you. It comes out of love. Jeremiah Wright only lied about AIDS, but Dennis, how could you hold that against him? That was a hall of fame call. God, it’s only Monday, and I feel like this. Usually, it takes a week to get me this worked up. You know what? I’ll tell you, doing the research for my column this week really riled me up. All of these pastors in the name of God and their religion, specifically Christianity, calling Jeremiah Wright a prophet? It really pushed me over the edge. I admit it. You know why? I can handle secular moral idiots. I can’t stand religious moral idiots. To make Christianity look that vile, as to call him a prophet? Not just Christianity, Judaism, because the prophets were Jewish. Was it Isaiah who said woe unto those who call evil good and good evil? And woe unto those who call good evil? That’s what the left does all the time. That’s what…that’s what Reverend Wright did. But he’s called a prophet by the left.

I debated whether or not to reformat the last paragraph to make it easier to read but decided not to. If you are familiar with Dennis Prager you know he doesn't get angry much but this call made him mad as hell and his response needs to be read as he said it.

What they don’t tell you is that they love THEIR IDEA of America, which would be the USSA.
