We can expect to see all Democrats and RINO’s unless and until a Conservative Republican enters the presidental race.

Good morning, AB.

Time to put on a pot of coffee.

Hayden may be interesting. The Congress still hasn’t fixed the FISA situation and we are more and more endangered every day that passes.

BREAKING NEWS: Al-Sadr calls for an end to Shiite revolt in south Iraq. More soon ..

But, but, but, hasn’t the media has been telling us that Al Sadr is winning this battle.......

“The Congress still hasn’t fixed the FISA situation and we are more and more endangered every day that passes.”

I’ve got a fine, fat twenty-dollar bill that says all those stiffs talk about is (shudder) waterboarding or other “torture” techniques that those villains apply to their beloved terrorists.

FISA? You don’t think the MSM would want anything like that around, do you? Somebody might overhear an actual criminal conspiracy to kill Americans, prevent it and then the MSM wouldn’t have a story line about the incompetent administration to run.

(Sorry about being so sarcastic, but got a couple of nephews over in ME right now who nobody’s heard from for the past two weeks. I’m sure they’re okay, but that news and then having to listen to these traitors here has got on my last da** nerve.)

At the same time I was reading Bill Roggio's report on how the Iraqis and the MNFI was kicking the beejeesus out of them, I was listening to David McDougal on Fox telling us how formidable a force the Mahdi army was, blah, blah, blah.

I knew who to believe :)

Has anyone heard from Anita? Her media nuggets was one of the most interesting posts on this thread and I miss it and her!

I’ll be watching bits and pieces of all the shows; I think Hayden may be the most interesting, but I do expect some interesting talk on the current situation in Iraq. I wonder if the dem guests will bother to even comment on the breaking news about Basra.

Jamal Simmons is an Obama supporter, Carville supports the Heroine of Bosnia.

I would love for Simmons to call Carville a "typical white person."

Yup. It would be hilarious, if it weren't so deadly serious.

I could tell we were kicking butt and winning after about 3 or 4 days. The Iraqis weren't backing down and were taking few casualties compared to what they were inflicting. They knew when to call in help from US air power and British artillary. They stayed focused and coordinated. Yet I continued to hear from the media how everything was going to hell in a handbasket.

Morning AB, ALL....

.....Got some thoughts on Hillary and hey, I think it’s beyond that she’s a liar. I truly think this woman lives in her own little world and they treat her very nice in there.

For she’s got to be delusional, nothing less.

Also, am really excited that they found what is likely DB Cooper’s parachute just cause...well I like that sort of thing.

Wondering why they don’t get rid of that fat Mahdi fellow once and for all but we shall see.

Finally, I post a book review of a book by an up and coming Delaware politico....possibly Governor but I speculate.

I gave a good review of the book but I elaborated on how she stiffed me for an interview and hey, I thought it was rude.

Now she’s begging me to please give her another chance (this all came to pass almost a year ago but just this past week she finally read the thing) and once again I am in trouble although I rarely even leave my house.

MSNBC was the first with the breaking news (that I saw posted on FR btw) regarding Sadr wanting to call it quits. But just now on MSNBC, the hostess just asked her guests:

“Won’t the continued fighting in Iraq hurt McCain?”

So, they tell us Sadr wants a truce, then they tell us he fights on.

The media are a bunch of psycho’s....(although I will say at least MSNBC was talking about it, FNC was talking about a Cheetah attack in FL).

Should pipe these shows into Gitmo. It break the terrorists faster then anything else we might do to them.

Regarding lights out yesterday:
Courtney I’mablond was reading headings on Fox&Friends this morning. She inserted her own commentary by saying she tried to google something yesterday and wondered why the Google page was black.
[Duh! Google had a statement on their page indicating they had ‘turned out the lights’, thus the black page.]

Wallace starts out with the continued fighting in IRaq and then mentions that Sadr has called for a truce...up first:

Graham and Reed.

Graham starts right out with Maliki showing strength by going after Shiites in the South...says it puts to bed the BS about Maliki only going after Suni and Kurds.

Reed says the effort against Sadr is political and shows the fragility of the political situation there. The key is not our presence, but their own ability to step up to the plate. GIves them NO credit for doing so. He says that in the long run, this situation will go on, and will reinvigorate the civil war (not his words, mine).

Graham (in response to a rather negative comment from Wallace) says that WE have improved the situation. He finally says that Iran is backing Sadr.

Wallace asks: The surge is working, now its not so, is the situation better or worse? Reed: the situation is getting worse; Graham immediately turns to the fact that Reed/Obama/Clinton pulling the troops would create chaos, as has been evidenced. We are winning, and we should pursue victory. Again Graham mentioned Iran and its destabilizing initiatives.

Morning Bahbah, AB and everyone. I’ll be lurking again this weekend, for the most part. I’m looking forward to what I can read before FNS begins here.

FISA will not be fixed anytime soon, unless the Democrats focus groups and polling indicate they are losing in the polls. Plus, we have the competition between Hillary and Pelosi going on, as each wants to be the queen bee. I just don’t see anything changing for now.

Timmy: “Is waterboarding torture.”

They just can’t get off it.

Hayden refuses to answer whether it is or not. He says they don’t do it.

Says the problem with using the Field Manual list of permitted interrogation techniques is that it limits them from using other perfectly legal means.
