Many times I have been threatened with violence, as well as our staff at Move America Forward. We simply shrug off the danger, and continue with our work to support our troops. 'Skye' at MidnightBlue.com wasn't so lucky yesterday in Philadelphia, Pa. She was slapped TWICE by so-called 'peace activists'. Video verifying 'Skye's' account coming shortly. And photos. Free Republic ArticleI did what any red-blooded peace protestor would do after this experience - drove into Philly to see a movie (taking a break from registering voters!). And I feel fine.
For six months now, the counterprotestors have tried incessantly to intimidate, provoke, harass - to try to cause violence in any way possible.
I have never in my life known such a hate-filled, hate-ful, obnoxious, vicious group of people - ever. I was right from the beginning about this group - so, please, let's get real:
* They care nothing about us as human beings - we are objects, "sheep" to them. They also think we're absolutely stupid, as conveyed by some of the very offensive names they call us.
* They care nothing about rights of any kind, constitutional or otherwise.
* They want nothing more than violent confrontation. I lost it the other night when I came to the candlelight 5th Anniversary vigil, the counterprotestors were there, I told them it wasn't our vigil but that of some local ministers - only to be told, very loudly and rudely: "YOU ALWAYS HIDE BEHIND RELIGION, KAREN PORTER."
Well, I lost it in my own way then.I was enraged. Angry. Bent out of shape. Shaking with rage.
WE ALL LOSE IT - and an apology's fine, but this vigiler has nothing to apologize for to any of us.
He happens to be a veteran who served his country in Vietnam - and we love and honor him. He is one of the kindest, most wonderful people you can ever know - he not only served his country in war but also in peace in public service.
Now, if you feel uncomfortable coming to these vigils after today (that's what they want you to feel - it's their plan), simply don't.
I can't promise you that they will ever behave themselves.
My skin got very thick. ... We know what they are, what they are capable of. And that's just what we have to live with.
But guess what: They have to live with us, too.

You lie, lie and lie some more. Skye did NOT deserve to be slapped twice. She was taking pictures. You know, FIRST AMENDMENT AND ALL THAT.
Oh, sorry, you people must have gone to government schools. Forgot about that part, huh?
Move America Forward is going to press forward with a demand to the United States Marshall Service, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Justice Department to start ARRESTING AND PROSECUTING THESE PEOPLE!
A beautiful day for a rally that turned ugly when a peace protester crossed the line from ugly remarks to violence.
Snarky retorts, name calling and mis characterizations by the CCPM are common place events in my 7 month documentary of this rally. Yesterday crossed the line, when I was struck twice by a peace protester. I can deal with all the above, but will NOT tolerate any form of violence against my person. I am consulting legal advice on this matter.
I guess this is a sign that I should not go to any event supporting our troops. You people have some amazing self control there would have been no way to stop me from responding with force, plain and simple a man does not lay a hand on a woman. I hope you all move forward with forcing charges on this piece of subhuman filth.

The CCPM member was pointed out to police and the officer told the man to come forward and the man refused. The guy was totally uncooperative, belligerent and would not go with the officer.Crummy picture site, you can't hotlink the pics, oh well click on the piture link above to see the guy being so peaceful and respectful of the cops.When he shoved the officer, the officer's partner took him to the ground to be handcuffed.
The guy continued to resist while on the ground and the peace movement folks surrounded the officers, some as close as a foot or so away.
Stupid guy, all he had to do was lie to the police and he would have gotten away with slapping a girl.
Let Skye know that she has friends here and that a second slap would have never happened whenever a friend needs help. (I’m a sinner and have never been very good at turning the other cheek). Thanks Skye for your commitment, hang in there!

At a rally in Berkeley last month, a 6' guy tried to wrestle a microphone from Melanie Morgan and in a few seconds he was on the ground with a mouth full of dirt with a Gold Star Father Vet on top of him.

Their Religion IS Peace
Tonight, seven fellow sheepdogs stood watch as the flock ‘protested’ our five year anniversary in Iraq. We withstood the rain and the usual nonsensical slurs from the not-so-peaceful gathering, but one stood out.
We showed up first. Karen Porter was so livid that Rich would counter-protest a ‘religious’ gathering that she told him to “go to hell”. (Not so peacefully, I might add.)
So, it was a religious gathering?
Is today a religious holiday that I didn’t know about? If it really was a religious gathering, why wasn’t it at a church? I doubt that their congregation meets on the courthouse steps every Wednesday. Then again, this is their religion. They respect God as little as they do our troops to say that their infantile candlelit vigil was anything other than political whinging.
This guy needs to be clubbed like an eskimo clubs a baby seal.
It seems to me that lately more and more liberals are comming unglued.

As a young man of 18 I was stationed at Lakenheath AFB Lakenheath England during the Vietnam War. Several times a year the America Haters throughout Europe would gather and surround the base as “peace protesters” Of course they held no signs condemming the Communist, the VC or the North. Only derided America and the people of South Vietnam. But then half the groups that gathered were Communist or Terrorist oriented.
I clearly remember feeling the hate and evil that flowed from these people and began to truly understand the danger these people presented to civilization.
It saddens me to see that in 40 years nothing has changed.
What a brave Man! I use that term loosely, any man wko would hit a woman deserves his ass kicked.
I am glad I was not there, this “peace protestor” would have recognized real violence.

They will commit or provoke violence, and without unequivocal proof, or in this case someone on the other side stupid enough to assault an officer, then you may be arrested, or even named in a lawsuit.

These losers in West Chester are very agressive and get right in front of you, right in your face.
Skye is very polite, very reasonable, and not at all in anyones face and indeed very professional. For heaven’s sake, they hit a Democrat! (conservative demo).

While the main objective of Patriots is to Support Our Troops it's become advisable to also provide protection from so-called "PEACE PROTESTERS". Patriots now must watch each others backs because the police have grown tolerant in witnessing acts of aggression. JMO

The anarchists are starting to show their true colors, starting with Berkeley, various other recruiter centers and now this.
Well, I remember those anarchists getting away scott-free after assaulting DC Metro cops last week at the recruiting station. There’s a different standard for the Left and their drama queens - that’s why they can get away with so much.

After meeting Skye, however briefly it was, there's nothing that justifies violence that was perpetrated by the male moonbat towards her. She was videotaping the proceedings and not engaging the "peace" protestors, for gosh sakes! It doesn't surprise me though, that the moonbats would resort to violence. Look how they've trashed military recruiting centers accross the country and how they've defiled military memorials. They are bitter and hateful people! Ever see pictures of the moonbats faces during their vigils and marches? The always seem to have angry and bitter looks. Contrast that with a Veterans and Patriots Rally, where everyone is smiling and uplifted by the experience.
I hope Skye is able to get enough evidence gathered to press charges against that lame excuse for a man, that slapped her!

There’s going to come the day when some of these moonbats go too far, and somebody on our side snaps. The results will not be pretty, and almost certainly spun against us, but you know it’s going to happen—in fact, they’re probably hoping for it. (Except that they’re hoping the ass-kicking happens to somebody else in their peace group, of course!)

I’d have to go make a separate search for these provisions if there are any...
But in the state of Pennsylvania are there any provisions in the state law for citizens to place under arrest those who commit crimes of assault (or assault by contact)???
Could there be any local ordinances that could help in cases like this...
It is a touchy subject and is fraught by as equal jeopardy to the arresting party to the degree of illegal detainment(s)...
I’d check and make sure, but this seems like it would be called for...
