The new pastor at Barack Obamas church used his first Easter sermon on Sunday to compare controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. to Jesus death at the hands of the Romans.
Sundays sunrise sermon, delivered by Rev. Otis Moss III, was called How to Handle a Public Lynching and focused primarily on the media firestorm that has focused international attention on this Chicago ministry, which is the church attended by the Democratic presidential candidate.
No one should start a ministry with lynching, no one should end their ministry with lynching. The lynching was national news. The RNN, the Roman News Network, was reporting it and NPR, National Publican Radio had it on the radio. The Jerusalem Post and the Palestine Times all wanted exclusives, they searched out the young ministers, showed up unannounced at their houses, tried to talk with their families, called up their friends, wanted to get a quote on how do you feel about the lynching? he said.
If I was Ice Cube Id say it a little differently You picked the wrong folk to mess with, Moss said to an enthusiastic congregation, standing up during much of the sermon.

Instead of Christ’s Resurrection, a virtual declaration of war from the pulpit, for telling the truth of Jeremiah Wright’s sermons.
The same pulpit that was occupied by a man who danced on the first Sunday after 9/11.
The decision to not vote nor assist Obama couldn’t be clearer.
If you hate America, help Obama.

If Obama is NOT elected, you can bet Jihad Jerry Wright will come out of retirement to call the masses into action.
If McCain IS elected, he will appoint some Jihad Jerry or Farakan like figure to be cabinet secretary in charge of handing out money and other tribute to the militants.

Instead of the resurrection of Christ, they choose to spend their Easter talking about this?Amazing, isn't it? No message of love and redemption from that pulpit. Their eternal misplaced anger and outrage is wearing thin. That facility isn't a church with a ministry, it's a militant black political action committee.

Playing the victim card will not cover up the fact that the Reverend has been spouting black racisim. That is not ok by societal standards. He was called on it by the greater public. Obama was called out on his silence as a lack of moral courage to stand for what is right or assention to the rhetoric.

Obama’s church gives achievement awards to Farrakan, has said over and over that white people are the enemy and need to be eliminated and has said over and over that whites should pay reparations to blacks. Now that some of this information has gotten out they say the Reverend Wright is a victim. Obama has been in this church for over 20 years. It is not possible that he does not agree with this.

Hey ... just another Easter Sunday sunrise service at Obama’s church. The title of the sermon “How to handle a public lynching” fits right in there with the spirit of Easter. Our sermon this AM (early service) was much more traditional ... had to do with the resurrection of Christ.

If I was Ice Cube Id say it a little differently You picked the wrong folk to mess with, Moss said to an enthusiastic congregation
I didn't even know who Ice Cube was before the Rev. Moss mentioned him. From
Wikipedia:
O'Shea Jackson (born June 15, 1969), better known by his stage name, Ice Cube (The Don-Mega) is an American MC, songwriter, actor, screenwriter and film director. Regarded as one of the greatest hip hop artists,[1][2] he began his career as a founding member of the famously controversial rap group N.W.A, and later launched a successful solo career in music and cinema. In 1992, he married Kimberly Woodruff, with whom he has four children.[3]
In 1992, he converted to Islam.[4] From the mid-1990s onwards, Cube focused on acting, and his musical output has slowed down considerably. He remains one of the most visible West Coast rappers,
having helped originate gangsta rap. He is particularly well-known for his incendiary raps on political and racial topics, particularly the treatment of blacks in the United States.

Wow! Threats from the pulpit.
Gonna Get Me a Shotgun
Performed by Garrett Morris on 24 Jan 1976
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see,
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see.
When I kill all the whities I see, then whitey he won't bother me,
I'm gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I see.
Then I'll get a white woman who's wearing a navy blue sweater.

Rev. Otis Moss III “preached”; Jesus wept.
To: bamahead
In the sermon he refers to National Public Radio as National Publican Radio.
A friend tells me the following:
As a Roman history buff, I don't know how many other people will notice this, but when Rev. Moss calls NPR "National Publican Radio", there's an anti-Semitic crack buried in the reference. Publicans were Jewish tax collectors for the Romans.
This was the primary definition until a recent flurry of political correctness forced Webster's to delete the word "Jewish" from the entry. Since the word is uttered in the context of an Easter sermon, and calls CNN the "Roman News Network", it seems reasonable to assume that Moss intended "publican" in its traditional historical setting.
