Wow, the Beijing Olympics may turn into a real fiasco for the China government if they're not careful.

Yes it was. This statement is ridiculous on its face. Read it and think about it. The people who made the product ARE responsible for whats in it.The people that made the product were U.S. companies! Their quality control fell down. My gosh, use some reason. And by all means gain an understanding of manufacturing and procurement in China.
By far and away the majority of companies manufacturing in China are either forign owned or owe all their production to U.S. and other foreign countries.
I swear, I thought FR is where you could come for informed discourse. Standards here are definately slipping or perhaps it is just the emotionalism on issues involving China.
