Articulate, huh? Sometimes there are no other words to describe the situation. I had a very prim and proper boss once that uttered the “F” word. Everyone was shocked. His response was the same as mine!

This whole election phenomena is a joke. It is a pity it is a very serious thing.

On NPR’s “Morning Edition” today, John McCain suggested that strong anti-immigrant rhetoric contributed to two recent, high-profile GOP Congressional losses – of former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum, who badly lost to Sen. Bob Casey in 2006, and Jim Oberweis, who lost the heavily Republican seat of former House Speaker Dennis Hastert this month in a special election.

Okay, McCainiacs. Your boy just undid all your spin control for the last three weeks. Now, speak slowly this time and once again tell us all why we need to vote for this mental midget come November.

Y’know, McCain would do himself a favor by simply keeping his mouth shut on this issue, while the Democrats self-destruct.

Good point. Apparently, one of his aides told him that he'd best keep himself in the public spotlight (somehow) even as Hillary and Obama duke it out. Problem is there's no way to keep him muzzled and in a strait-jacket while he's in the spotlight.

He sure does seem hellbent on losing the election.

The man just doesn’t get it. If he wins, it will not in any small way be because of my vote.

Thanks for the PING

McCain needs to be informed that we are PRO-immigration, and he and his ilk are anti-immigration...

The invaders are illegal aliens...and anti-American...

The illegal aliens and their enablers are flaunting our laws and thumbing their noses at our sovreign right to live free from invasion in our own country...

All those RINOs running for POTUS and the one conservative, Duncan Hunter, who had every area covered strongly was shut out...

Duncan “Mr Fence” Hunter would have been an excellent POTUS,

but instead we now have John “Mr AMNESTY” McCain..

Or Barack “Mr AMNESTY” O’Bama ...

Or Hillary “Ms AMNESTY” Clinton...

And thousands more illegal aliens since this time last year...or millions...

This has nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with giving AMNESTY to 30,000,000 illegal aliens...

This has nothing to do with immigration............

Yeah, we have to zero in on "illegals" to male it politically palatable---but frankly, I am sick and tired of immigration. Period.

These hypehnates flood our country and never bother to assimilate. So many crimes are being perpetrated by immigrants.

The hyphenates view America and Americans as easy targets

As I said on another thread: Every time something happens over on the Dim side and I decide that I’ll have to suck it up and very, very, very, very reluctantly pull the lever for McCain in November, he does or says something that makes me pull back and say “never mind, I’ll vote Constitution Party or write in someone come November, like I originally planned to do.” McCain makes it clear in many ways that he does not want or need the votes of conservatives.

We long ago stopped having a federal government with the best interests of the United States uppermost in their collective minds. For too long, we have been saddled with a political elite (Senate and House) and a vast, bloated make-work bureaucracy which believes it's major priority is to regulate and control every American citizen. Once respected agencies like the FBI and CIA are mostly interested in their own agendas and protecting their turf, and can no longer be relied on by our citizens. Adept at accumulating power and increasing their own personal fortunes, pay and perks, they give only lip service to such quaint notions as duty, honor and country; in certain quarters, "patriot" is a dirty word and one which engenders suspicion. They are convinced we work for them rather than the other way around.

To see how far this great nation has fallen, all one need do is look at the three "leading" presidential candidates, a sorry collection of losers unfit to hold any federal office of importance.

We need a complete and total changeout and house cleaning in Washington and, until that is accomplished, we're only going to see the present situation deteriorate further.
