I’ve long insisted that if it wasn’t for Ted Kennedy’s last name, even the voters of Massacusetts probably would have tossed him out of office years ago.
And trust me, Ted Kennedy has no problems using the family name to gain sympathy and votes.
He did it in a ‘94 debate against Mitt Romney. He did it in such a way as to make Romney look bad - when in fact, Romney didn’t even question his family.
It was disgusting.

That was a full page parody ad in National Lampoon Magazine back in the day. People fell down laughing all over the world. I think that ad is the Ancient God-like Ancestor of every Swimmer graphic made since.

If I ever saw somebody intentionally dump oil in the water I would beat their ass, BTW. Then you'd best get into shape because ol' Maw Nachure is the biggest source of oil slicks there is, by far.

Ted Kennedy has called Nantucket Sound near his Massachusetts estate “a national treasure” — but that didn’t stop the senator from having oil dumped from his yacht into its waters.
A local photographer spotted an oil slick coming from Kennedy’s yacht Mya as Kennedy and his guests left the vessel in a launch following a race that ended in Hyannis, the Cape Cod Today newspaper reported.
The initial read leads you to believe it's a current event. You have to click onto the original story to get the proper time frame ... and even then it's sketchy.
