I posted partially as sarcasm, partially to be amusing.
However there is really nothing amusing about her being in office.
I do believe that she would try to suspend Constitutional protections, starting with 1st and 2nd amendments.
First amendment to silence Vast right wing conspiracy. This will include shutting sown internet sites such as this one, silencing Rush and Laura.
Muzzling Ann Coulter(sp?).
Second amendment to prevent anyone objecting to suspension of first amendment.
From there it will be downhill race to bottom of barrel and anybodies guess as to where it will stop.

To forestall anyone from saying she cannot do above.

Let me remind all of databases that BATFE has, plus FBI, local LEO’s, and various other agencies that monitor the citizens of this special country USA.

She is foremost a socialist, and in addition I believe she and Bill to be sociopaths.

So nothing is beyond the pale for them. They will do anything, say anything, promise anything and eliminate anyone to get what they want.
Which is the ultimate power base, PRESIDENT of the USA.

LOL, you’ve cracked me up again. (And you’ve been doing so since 1999.)

>>I don’t think they would do this if Obama were the nominee,<<

LOL! I think some Freepers are voting for Obama but I agree with you that Hillary will entice more conservatives to the polls.

I had a terrible nightmare that even Rush Limbaugh was telling us to vote for Hillary and kept her alive. Glad it was only a dream. A conservative would never campaign for Hillary.

I would, if only because I don’t want to be known as the Republican voter who helped Obama win.

Nita Lowey is still owed for stepping aside for Hillary’s first Senate run...but it wouldn’t be unheard of for the Dems to stiff her.

At first I thought Rush was wrong.
But it is long way to demo nomination.
I believe that Hillary and Obama will do incredible damage to DNC. Because they both want nomination for similar yet different reasons. Hillary because it is her right.
Obama because he will be first truly melanin enhanced president.
But also because he believes the press that he is unbeatable.

What I truly fear is that high powered pol or business person will put a stop to DNC insanity, Dean does not have standing to do so. However Gore may.
Question I have is will Gore take on Clinton machine, or Daly/Chgo/IL machine.

Gore will be looking to see which machine he fears less. Chicago/Il machine does not have rep for eliminating opposition.
Clinton machine does.
In any case as is all over threads, get the popcorn and watch the next couple months unfold.

The one reservation I have about these scenarios, is that while this process unfolds, our enemies are preparing their next attack.

Provided Hillary gets elected in 2008 (God save our Republic were that were to happen), I seriously doubt that she would be re-elected in 2012. After four years of President Hillary and the Dems in Congress, our economy would be in shambles, IEDs and suicide bombings will be happening daily in US streets and the prospect nuclear war in the Middle East between Israel and Iran will be hanging by a thread. President Hillary could doom the Democrats to minority party status for decades.

You’re saying she would run on her experience of being a hedge fund manager?

Plus her 8 years in the white house and having met with 80 world leaders as she traveled around the world representing the US (on her mother's junkets) ;-)
