A flip answer, yes I think it was, yet it is also an accurate answer.
When lockdowns or shooting sprees on high school and college campuses become everyday occurrences, my question is no less appropriate: what in the world is going on?
Further, what can we do about it? Certainly and hopefully, not shrug it off.
I used to write on the topic...now I just post updates.
It's the music, the music made him do it. Ban music on campus!

Well I wish that you would do both.
Cindy, my post was not meant to be a criticism of you or your post but I'm afraid it did sound as if I was being critical. I'm very sorry for that. You do great work.
Not a problem and nothing to be sorry about, bd476.

Boone, N.C. An Appalachian State University student who said he saw a gunman setting off a campus-wide lock down Monday made up the story, police said Tuesday.
Matthew Haney, from Durham, said he saw an armed man trying to steal his TV, but investigators said he lied. His apartment door was broken, and investigators said they believe he didn't want to report it to the management company.
