“Entrap” these sick pedophile scumbags all day long as far as I’m concerned.
I think that show should be on the air forever.

Your welcome.

Good luck.

BTW, I found this in Wikipedia.

>>Mentions of the Higgs boson (sometimes referred to in popular articles as the ‘God particle’, after the not-all-serious title of Nobel laureate Leon Lederman’s book The God Particle: If the Universe Is the Answer, What Is the Question?), occur in some works of fiction. These references mostly imbue it with fantastic properties, and of the actual theory of the particle only its unknown mass is capitalized upon.<<

Thanks, GondramB.

I re-read the National Geographic article last njight, and re-read your explanation, and I am still baffled!

But I’m determined to try and get at least a small handle on understanding these things, so I’ll go read that Wiki.

Thanks!

BTW, I read about your speacialty, of creating single crystals, wow...talk about mind-boggling!

I’ll try to find the National Geographic article online and maybe together we can piece together the interesting parts.

You are absolutely correct. The “stings” are set up so that the person KNOWS he’s meeting someone underage and for sex.

I believe that if they were catching men who agreed to meet a woman who said she was of legal age in a public place like a bar or restaurant, and it later TURNS OUT that the girl is only 16, everyone would be sympathetic to the guy.

And yes, having been an underage teen once myself, I do think guys should actually ask to see a youngish new date’s driver’s license. Seriously.

I don’t know about that, but I am happy to see these guys identified. Keep in mind, most of them expect to have sex with a 13-15 year old girl or boy. They are a danger to society. There was a case in GA where an internet predator found out where a girl lived and broke in and raped her.

Also, one of my daughter’s friends posted information on Myspace about my daughter-her picture and name. My kids can’t use this, but this girl had it in her friends list. We had a stalker from November of last year until March. It was very frightening. I was in Georgia and my husband was in WI (transferred). One night, while I was at Home Depot, someone tried to kick down the door that lead from the garage to the laundry room. Thank God my 15 year old had sense to lock herself and her sister in her room and call 911 and her uncle who lived nearby. The guy was not caught, but the police believe it was internet related. Our house was like Fort Knox-alarms etc. The police were there almost everyday.

One day my brother-in-law slept over and almost caught the guy. He was an ex-police officer (NYC). It ended. However, I didn’t breathe easy until we moved. I say these guys need to be taken off the street. They are trolling on the internet sites where teens hang out looking for sex.

They walk into the traps because they are sick animals who have a need to have sex with children. If they were not walking into traps, they might be harming kids. I say catch them all splash their pictures all over television and lock them up.

One of my friend’s sons Uncle molested him between the ages of 4 and 10. The kid is almost 25 now and has had a really difficult time. These animals destroy kids-now that’s entrapment harming children.

I don’t get why you think that the people who work for and with Perverted Justice are wrong to be doing this work...

If they feel that strongly about it (and I have no problem if they do) then they should become cops.Police stings are conducted by police officers...not "concerned citizens" regardless of how well meaning they might be.

Thank you for your post. I appreciated learning some details of your personal experience. In light of those, let me say that I understand your position in this matter. I agree with you that such offenders need to be caught and taken off the streets as soon as possible. But I continue to state that crime as entertainment is wrong. Yes, I want them trapped and caught, but I don’t think NBC should profit by that.
