My grandmother used to say, "If you want to know where the manure is – wait until the wind blows in your direction." The stench of Barack Obama's reality is permeating the political arena, with the recently revealed truth of how he and his wife actually feel about the country he aspires to lead.
Michelle Obama told a Milwaukee rally, "What we have learned over the past year is that hope is making a comeback. And let me tell you something – for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. And I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction and just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment."
Hers was a chilling statement and telling look into the mindset of the woman who may soon become the first lady of this nation. Was she not proud of the way individuals in "her" country pulled together from every walk of life to help those ravaged by Hurricane Katrina?
Are we to believe that Feb. 18, 2008, was the first time in her entire adult life she could be proud of America? Was she not proud of the medical advancements made by American pharmaceutical companies that saved lives and/or contributed to the quality of life for tens of millions worldwide? Are we to believe that she has been ashamed of the country that made it possible for her to attend Princeton University and obtain a law degree from Harvard, empowering the success of her adult life?

Now, I have never defended Hillary, but I’m wondering how many know that Michelle Obama believes that babies who survive abortion attempts should not received medical care and should be allowed to be left to die slowly and painfully.
I haven’t even heard Hillary support anything that extreme.
Michelle is angry, militant, and completely without gratitude for the country in which she has lived a priveleged life complete with Ivy League education and fantastic opportunities.
I would say Hillary sounds downright patriotic next to this woman.

Wow that cartoon is fantastic. As a space enthusiast I am so pleased the cartoonist put a space shuttle image in there. I had thought the moon landings would be something of which to be even more proud but I guess Michelle was only a child when that happened. Actually I was too but I was incredibly proud nonetheless.
I respectfully disagree. Hillary Clinton has, is and will be a clear and present danger with her position alone. We can defeat Hillary (thanks Barack) for the highest office in the land and she goes back to undermining the country in a different way. Think of each with a column listing their lies, attacks, doublespeak, distortions, divisiveness, etc. Now create a mental column listing their deeds/misdeeds. There is no comparison.

I strongly agree...in that going forward from this point in time, every word coming out of her mouth and every deed will be interesting and tremendous insight into the mind of Michelle Obama.
Here’s a parsing of Mrs. Obama’s words I have yet to see; She’s always been proud of this country, only now she’s REALLY proud. You know, like in even more so proud. Right? Judges’ll take that, right?
I first heard that word here on FR a month or so. I had to google it’s meaning. Now I have seen it here many times. It is a great descriptor for Hillary. And Michelle.

Well stated. Osama Obama is probably one of the most liberal radicals in the Congress, and even more dangerous, he has no credentials that would been even start to qualify him to sit in the Oval Office. He is a marxist, and as you put it well, totally self serving. His mouthpiece spouse is well suited for her equally radical role...
