Although this debate has been with us for a long time now, Soros is opening a new chapter, one in which advocates will push harder than anyone will ever expect.

The reason is that very soon the baby boomer generation is going to stop being productive, and start being a cost on society as their health care needs multiply. A retired teacher at my church announced this, more or less, last year just after Christmas. Several years ago she had breast cancer, and after surgery and chemotherapy, it seemed to be in remission. When it recurred last year, she prayed about resuming treatment, and decided to decline the recommendation to resume chemotherapy, understanding that (given the uncertainties of treatment outcomes) effectiveness could not be guaranteed in any case. She died a few weeks ago, and the funeral was an encouraging celebration of her life.

So if the premis of Soros is that old people should be killed because they take more than they give to society, then by that reasoning homosexuals should be killed because they rely on the children of others to pay for their care during old age (i.e., they take more than they give.)
