The Milwaukee Police Department has issued an investigative report on a host of election irregularities surrounding the 2004 presidential election in Milwaukee.

The report, which covers many issues first reported by the Journal Sentinel in early 2005, provides a look at the level to which police investigated the problems, which included a gap of several thousand more votes counted than people recorded as having voted.

Why did this take four years to finish? Why not four days or weeks?

Probably because the cops released this report over the objections of the political leadership in Milwaukee.

It came out only a few weeks after the new Police Chief was sworn in.

I would love to see how many ineligible people voted in the last election. All you have to do is show up at the polls with a utility bill with your name on it.

While I was covering voting in the primaries, a woman successfully registered to vote by paying a parking ticket, having the cops put her new address on the receipt and using the receipt as proof of address. The police station is in the city hall, so she just took the ticket around the corner and got “identification.”

Note, the previous incident was in a Milwaukee suburb, not the city of Milwaukee.

If anything, the voting irregularities are just as bad in the rest of the state. Racine and Kenosha are particularly bad, since they are closer to Illinois.

As far as I am concerned, this cheating took away my vote, its all we really have. I am hoping for a ground swell of interest in this case so that they at the very least, implement the voter id bill, the problem, is that we voted in democrats that wont do anything about this and a Governer that would veto any bill that comes to him with a picture id.Also, dont forget that in 2000, Bush only lost by 5000 votes, that year they also caught people giving cigs to homeless people to go and vote Democrat,in 2004 Kerry won by 11000 votes, there were 5000 more votes then the amount of people registered, right there it drops it down to 5000 without even counting all the double voting and people voting in two different states and counties, I know it doesnt matter for that race because Bush won , but even after this report, they refused to prosecute anyone with the serious voter crimes. Now the Democrats know that they can get away with it, and they will,The reason I know its Dems is that its only dems that are fighting the voter id bill and also same day registration

Bush should have won Wisconsin in 2004, but vote fraud prevented it and the GOP in the Congress didn’t have the coconuts to call them on it.

I had a similiar problem, but finally got in.

Some interesting comments:

of the 1305 unenterable on site registrations, 541 or 41% were listed in the database.

7 persons voted using the address of a city of Milwaukee office building.

At the University of Milwaukee dorm / ward there were 2101 ballots cast by 1887 persons.

At least 220 (361 reported by Milwaukee Journal) felons voted.

The city allows the homeless to vote in any aldermanic district

128 used the address of a (day time only) homeless center and voted illegally.

Here's a great quote from page 16...

The Wisconsin On-Site Voter Registration system confirms the identity, address, and eligibility of the voter after an election is completed. Therefore, fraudulent voters such as the Chicago resident have their votes counted even though they are ineligible to vote in Wisconsin. The Chicago voter is a prime example of an out of state individual using a friend’s address and voting in Wisconsin.

Another interesting bit...

The Task Force investigators have found that the most obvious of the questionable voters are those that voted as On-Site Registrants using the addresses such as 1335 West Vliet Street. A number of On-Site Registration cards were found in the 1305 “un- enterable” cards listing this address. 1335 West Vliet is not a legal voting address. It is a storefront owned by a homeless support organization, Repairers of the Breach. Repairers of the Breach is a self described “day shelter” for the homeless. There were no overnight facilities at 1335 West Vliet Street on November 2, 2004.

Deputy Registrars working for various “Get out the Vote” organizations registered these individuals. Prior to November 2, 2004 there were no persons listed as registered voters with the address of 1335 W. Vliet Street. These 128 persons could now be registered voters in the city of Milwaukee, eligible to vote in future elections.

The Task Force investigators found another example of these illegal-voting addresses one block east of Repairers of the Breach. 1220 West Vliet Street is the legal address for the Marcia Coggs Human Services Center. The building is owned by Milwaukee County and is an office building with no residential facilities. The Task Force found that seven persons voted using this address. The poll book of registered voters for 1220 W. Vliet, District 15, Ward 314 listed 29 registered voters for November 2, 2004. A further check of area shelters revealed that the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, 1820 W Wells St, had 162 registered voters with 51 persons voting from that address; the Guest House, 1216 N 13th St, had 136 registered voters with 18 persons voting on November 2, 2004.

Pages 49 and up show that campaign workers from all over the country, came to work the election, AND,,, registered and voted as Milwaukee residents. I’ll bet they had already voted by absentee ballots in their home states. All this fraud, and known names of persons committing felonies, and the dem machine refused to prosecute anyone!
